Excellent breakfast. Cute atmosphere. Amazing homemade strawberry freezer jam served with my toast.

It is a popular cafe with good food excellent menu. A lot to choose from.

Highly recommended! Skip your expensive coffee folks and get yourself to the Cottage Garden Cafe for a delicious hardy breakfast that provides energy all morning! I had the Veggie Gourmet. It was great! They were generous with the asparagus, just how I like it baby. Homemade jam to boot! Very pleasant experience. It was like sitting at grandma's kitchen table. Cute little place. Waitress was politte with a kind facial expression.

As out-of-towners, we really enjoyed our quiet, simple breakfast here. My husband loved the cinnamon toast! We thought it was awesome that they use bakery fresh bread. Customer service was great as well, very patient with our toddler and very efficient.

Cottage garden is so good!! The food is good and the service is great too!!! It’s small but the decor is cute!! You should definitely go there!!👍👍👍😁

A must for breakfast! I wish we would have found this out first day here!
Fresh homemade ingredients, very friendly, not your average breakfast choices either.
I had the Pentwater parfait which was wonderful with layers of fruit, yogurt and homemade granola. My husband had an omelette with the potatoes and cinnamon raisin bread. It was all wonderful. I should have taken pictures before they disappeared.
We will definitely be back the next time we are in Pentwater!

Normally a very pleasant experience, however we had a newbie summer help who was NOT helpful at all. When asked about how a menu item was prepared, shrugged her shoulders and said I don’t know-I usually work the breakfast menu....then just stood there! Asked if she could please go find out and her eyes rolled as she begrudgingly turned to find out. Her attitude continued to have us feel as it pained her to wait on us.
The food, as always was wonderful.

The Service and the coffee were great. Our main courses (2 different omelettes) were just OK..... I am coming back to edit this original review. Honestly, breakfast was disappointing. I had the supreme omelette (smoked salmon, capers and cream cheese) it was OK at best. The potatoes were slimy and over cooked. My husband’s plate was just the same. Not a spot we will be returning to any time soon.

Excellent, professional service and great food. We walked in and placed a carryout order and it was ready for us very quickly. Really friendly and professional waitress as well.
