Shaded Bloom Coffee House

Absolutely wonderful little coffee shop with pastries from a local bakery. Coffee was served at a perfect temperature instead of surface-of-the-sun hot like most coffee shops these days.

Very comfortable atmosphere. Pleasant but quiet enough to hear yourself think, unlike many "national brand" locations.

Super cute place, love the location and the outdoor seating area. However the drinks were awful, I actually had to throw mine out. The matcha latte was grey not green. Quality matcha is bright green. It could of been just an expired batch and they didn’t realize it ? But the color was definitely not quality fresh matcha. It was extremely grainy also. My husband ordered a chia latte and he said it was just spicy milk. Unfortunately we won’t be back, which sucks because we loved the area!!

Great baristas who are very friendly. My mocha was one of the best I've had. Great view of the park.

Our go-to coffee shop! The owners are so friendly and the coffee is excellent. My only complaint is the pastry selection is sometimes limited and definitely is fresher on some days than others (brought in from Crust).

Love this place - I just learned about it and have been twice in a week. I can't vouch for the coffee as I'm a tea drinker, but the English Breakfast style tea was delicious to accompany the wonderful baked goods from Crust. The atmosphere is lovely, particularly with the large (and spotlessly clean) windows overlooking the stream. So glad to have this place in Lake Orion.

My favorite cafe around! As a small business owner, I love helping support other small businesses to keep our local economy alive and thriving.

The cafe is warm and welcoming and has a very cozy, homey vibe. The owners (the Kratt family) are the best people, enthusiastically committed to their craft and ensuring the best possible experience for their guests. It's my forever go-to place, whether I need a reprieve from my heavy workloads or to do remote work, it's always a delightful experience.

Do yourself a favor and stop in for a coffee and croissant and soak up in this wonderful, relaxing atmosphere. You'll be supporting a small business and treating yourself—a win-win for sure.

Had a lovely experience today at Shaded bloom, they had a somewhat smaller coffee selection compared to many places I've been, but don't be mistaken, the selection was plenty large for anyone to find something they like. The coffee was good and tested, and they make it by weight proportions (as far as I could see) which means I would presume a relatively consistent experience in taste of drink. Lastly there was a decent and interesting selection of different pastries and muffins I bought some, but have yet to enjoy them, tho I am optimistic. Over a very good experience and I will likely return
