Went here for a place to grab something to eat and explore the town a bit. Ended up loving it here and the vibe of the place. I ended up sitting and reading/skimming a few of the hundreds of books they have here! Also a great place to buy local souvenirs that are Michigan made.

The concept of this establishment is great - a place to purchase unique UP gifts, get a quick bite to eat, and launch into a great book. The wait staff and the baristas are very proficient, but if you are ordering food, you should expect a wait. I came for breakfast on a Sunday morning. Although they had ample staff to make food, the employees seemed more interested in talking and catching up with each other than making food. For 2 coffees and 2 simple bagels, the total wait time was 45 minutes. I would have been better served going to the grocery store and purchasing the ingredients myself. It might be different when they are not operating during peak hours, but I wouldn’t recommend going in if you need something fast.

Adorable! Fun! There's art to browse, board games to play, lots of books to browse, read, and maybe buy, and of course, lots of awesome food, drinks, and ice cream!

Cute little place - love the atmosphere. However the prices on their online menu are different from the actual prices in the store. It said breakfast burritos n breakfast sandwiches were $5.29 and they were over $10 in the store. So maybe get that fixed.

If you love coffee and you love books, this place is for you because you can be immersed in both. The ice cream was a fun surprise. And there's nothing better than an espresso shot over a scoop of ice cream.

I got an everything bagel with cream cheese and a decaf oat milk latte. The staff were very friendly and it was quite busy. A very nice atmosphere, lots of art and books and games.

Great bookstore and cafe.
The breakfast sandwiches are amazing. The croissant is so flaky and buttery soft. Drool.
The coffee is self serve and tasted good. The yogurt was yummy too. Just grab it from the fridge.
There’s a children’s section and the kids love it.
Tons of books. Amazing. They also have games you can play.
This is just a great place to hang out and chill.

Such a charming place and THE BEST ice cream (Jilbert is the brand). The staff was super friendly. We would go here often if we lived in the area.
