The Proving Grounds Coffee & Ice Cream

Proving Grounds coffee isn’t the best anymore. I was very disappointed this morning once again. I have stopped several times here over the past couple of months hoping it would be better than the last. It used to be very good. The employees do not seem too happy and the place has a bad vibe compared to in the past. Also on my way in and out from the rear entrance there is a HUGE ottoman in the already narrow walkway. I couldn’t imagine needing a cane or something and getting through that. I won’t be back.

The atmosphere is welcoming. Fast and friendly service. Best staff always very nice!

Coffee is amazing! There are plenty of places to sit (couches, chairs, tables) and the staff were very nice. Free wifi! And did I mention the fantastic ice cream?

A cozy little coffee shop. The icecream is great, definitely worth the price.

This is my happy place. I recommend the lavender lemongrass tea latte with almond milk.

I've been here several times, and the coffee is just ok. Dark roast isn't dark or strong enough, and it's always warm, not hot. The baked goods were great when I first started coming (I believe from Crust bakery), now they're prepackaged. I'd rather shop local, but not when Speedway dark roast is better for $1.

This place used to be the best but those days are long gone. I’ve tried three different times over the last 6 months and twice I got watered down coffee and the third I got two incorrect sandwiches with bacon that were not supposed to have bacon. Everywhere is going downhill due to workers not giving a care.

Proving Grounds falls well short of the mark. The coffee is mundane and the espresso is lifeless—scorched to a burnt crisp. Aside from the underwhelming product, the culture is rotten from the inside out. An ethos driven by close mindedness and exclusion makes for a disappointing experience. Despite these atrocities, a few baristas make the most of their opportunity to brighten what is sadly a wretched run in—Julia, Lilly, and Jay are top notch at what they do and moreover fantastic people.

It's my favorite coffee shop. They have wide variety of coffee and tea.People who works here very knowledgeable and helpful,paying attention to the details. Place by itself is well maintained and always clean. They also have a little kids area, table games,flowers from local florist. Atmosphere is cozy and friendly.
