Very good oat milk latte. Staff was friendly and helpful. The vegan scone was disappointing (really gritty instead of baked well together) but it was also gluten free which was likely the issue. I do appreciate that they had options. Would come again for the coffee.

Location is ideal,plenty of parking and excellent quality of coffee. Staff have always been very courteous,competent and non-discriminate. It has a very pleasant atmosphere with informative booklets guides and maps. If I were on a road trip in the Marquette area I definitely wouldn't hesitate to bring the whole family along to the Dead River Cafe.

Great coffee, great staff, truly a local gem

It's a small shop with some damn good coffee. Some of the best espresso I've ever had and my wife loved their home made vanilla flavoring. On top of all of that, their prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended.

Dead River has the best coffee around. Roast the beans in house. Always a stop when in town. Had to update my review after just Googling their website. Congrats to Slone for Purchasing and carrying on the Dead River name. You will do great. And Congrats to Theo. Enjoy life and coffee! My sons, wife and I are looking forward to getting back up and getting some cups of the best brewed coffee around.
