First time being there and I really liked it as it was not just a very down home kind is place but the food was very good as well. Nothing fancy just a very down-to-earth environment with pleasant people. Waitresses were very attentive and order was filled and during on front of me in about 15'. I was additionally new to being on Marquette but being a man from Alabama I just don't feel so far from home. Give it a try, I know I will a lot while here for the next month.

Best. Pancakes. Ever.

Food is great and atmosphere is set when you walk into the wooden barrel vaulted entry. Feels like you're entering a J.R.R. Tolkien tale. Soft wood tones throughout. I've enjoyed multiple different omelets, corned beef hash, and even requested random combination of items. Doesn't faze the wait staff or the cook. Coffee and orange juice very good. These seem like simple things but I've experienced both that left something to be desired. Service is prompt and your cup stays full unless you gulp it down

Awesome restaurant with friendly staff and great food. Portions were just right and very taste. Even the customers were in a good mood@

Great food! Service a little slow, but still highly recommend. Beautiful inside, with wood & stone.
Note that the Belgium waffles are small, only about the size of a standard pancake.

Service is very slow. It seems that the kitchen does not have the capacity for the seating in the resturant. Food was good for what I call a greasy spoon, but to wait for an hour for eggs and hash browns seems to be a bit long. Our waitress was friendly and handling the situation the best she could.

The food was great! Service not so much. Our waitress barely checked on us. When she realized ALL of our waters were empty she just brought a pitcher and sat it down. She had on extremely short shorts to be working in the food industry. It was especially bothersome that she kept pulling them down. Kinda gross to pull at the bottom of such short shorts and then handle food and drink. Another waitress had on leggings that were so thin I could see her skin on her rear. She was wearing a thong. Not something I should see while eating breakfast. Another waitress had on a belly shirt. All clothing appropriate for hooters but not a family restaurant with my husband and children..... bummer that this will keep me away because the food really was delicious.

Very friendly waitress. Food took a little long but that's expected for these times. Delicious and we definitely over ate as a result. Had the Cajun burrito

Not bad. Not great either. 35 minute wait from order to meal for a basic breakfast that was over priced for what was provided. My server (at the counter no less) was inattentive but friendly.

I have never had a poor experience here, the service is usually on point unless it's a heavy day in terms of customer traffic. The place is popular on weekends. The staff does their best and it shows. They will ask any chance they get if your experience is what you expect. Great place for breakfast with the family. Almost feels like home.
