Babycakes

One of my favorite places in Marquette. It has a great variety of muffins and other baked goods. I brought home the strawberry rhubarb bar which was great but my bran muffins was extremely dry. The walnuts on top were delicious. They serve a variety of coffee drinks but we didn't have any. So can say anything about them. This is cool little place worth stopping by.

Very friendly and helpful staff, awesome pastrys... Stopped in and tried the mini moose trio and a pumpkin cookie. Trio was a very nice sampling of their chocolate mousse , cookies and cream filling, and carmel cheesecake. I assume they use the same filling for their babycakes as well anyway here goes my take on them...

Chocolate Raspberry mini 9/10
Filling was rich and dark, chocolate graham shell was on point. A solid 9/10 I do recommend you eat the raspberry first though as it overpowered the chocolaty graham excellence...

Carmel cheesecake mini 10/10
If you swing by and they have a larger version of this...pick it up, the experience ended too quickly. Graham shell was perfect, cheesecake interior had an almost butterscotchy taste to it and sat between a carmel drizzle top and bottom.... Phenomenal

Cookies n cream cup 9/10
A little messy but super tasty. Filling was nice and light pretty much nailing the flavor of an oreo cookie... Chocolate used for the shell was definitely superior to store bought crud and overall I give it a 9/10

Pumpkin cookie 11/10
Hands down one of the best cookies I've had... Very soft with a light chew to it you could tell it must have been fresh made that day. Pumpkin flavor was very prevalent but it was not overspiced as some pumpkin cookies can be. Seriously though this is one I would write home about.... It may not be for everyone if you're not a big pumpkin fan but if you're like me and dig the fall season do not snooze on this one.

Babycakes was a highlight of our trip in the UP! Their vegan options are unreal, and the staff, despite being busy, still manage to be very nice and genuine! The atmosphere is also quite pleasant although it was bustling when we got there. And they have outdoor seating. Overall, great experience and would totally recommend!!

Awesome place with good food selection and hard working friendly staff. It's a must stop place if you are visiting the city.

Great coffee and great baked goods. Nice place for breakfast. The staff is friendly and very accommodating to make sure you are happy with everything. Love this place for early morning coffee.

Much-hyped muffin shop that lives up to it's reputation! Their chocolate raspberry and their almond poppy muffins were both delicious. They've added paninis to their menu as well that appeared hearty. Full coffee/espresso selection. The staff were all exceptionally nice (as everyone is here in the UP!). Thoroughly enjoyed my experience here.

Very small coffee shop with not enough seating (I believe 5 small to medium sized tables). Coffee is always great. Most baked goods come with gluten free option for a small uncharged for all those with dietary concerns/restrictions. Would go more often but it is always difficult to find space to visit and relax.

Love this place. I had a matcha latte. Fantastic! Great variety of pastries. Clean, great service. Very friendly! We come here when we are in Marquette, and they are open on Sunday morning when others are closed!

Stopped through town and stumbled in to Babycakes. Great place to grab a coffee and some sweets. The lemon cake was amazing, the scone was perfect, and the macaroons were delicious. Staff was attentive and excited about what they were doing.
