The Grind Coffee House

Stopped by here two days in a row while traveling through Manistique. The staff was polite, the atmosphere was great, everyone followed CDC guidelines (including the guests), and the food and coffee was excellent. Tried to give Cedar Street a try, don't waste your time there - no one was wearing masks and we openly witnessed the staff telling a local that they "support freedom there". 🙄

The muffins are delicious, the drinks are good, the atmosphere is kind, and this is quite possibly the only business in this town that is following CDC guidelines to safely make food and drinks during a global pandemic. Would highly recommend.

Cute little coffee shop with a great variety of product. And the story behind the coffee shop makes it even better. Knowing that I am not only getting a coffee but also helping the local community and students is a good feeling.

Good coffee and service! Difficult to navigate the parking lot/drive thru area. There is a big arrow pointing into the driveway next door, but apparently you're supposed to drive in next to the building? It was confusing.

Lots of options, great ambience, fast WIFI, and proceeds go back to the public schools!

Yesterday I ordered the vanilla bean cold foam and it was so good it’s better than Starbucks I recommend 100%

The Ying: The coffee was decent, strong and hot. The staff is very good. Cozy atmosphere, but I was in and out quickly.

The Yank: Nothing other than that they're unable to be open more hours.

The Grind is a little shop of wonders where your expectations of coffee can and will be exceeded. Today I ordered a large Irish cream coffee. It was so delicious that I went back for another one in the same visit. I highly recommend this coffee shop.

The barista was soo nice and helpful! I’m an inexperienced coffee drinker and she made me a great drink that I loved. Would go back for sure
