I enjoyed the atmosphere here. The coffee was really good too. However, as a bookstore their inventory is not eye-catching. You may not find what you look for. That being said, my intent was to get a cup coffee and it was the right place for that!

Great coffee shop with many different coffee options! Nice staff, fair pricing, good books, and good workspaces! Only in town for 5 days and have made a point to come here multiple times.

Great coffee! Good service! We also liked their "aussie bites" cookies. Not too sweet, just right!

As long as Bookmark exists, my husband and I will keep coming. The baristas are incredibly friendly and the drinks are consistently delicious. Plus they've got a nice collection of books, from the classics to local authors.

I was excited that my son read some Majic School Bus books and wanted to read more. They had more book series for the same price as Amazon. And all I had to do was drive a few blocks. Win Win. Supporters a local business and my son got to read more of the series without waiting for a delivery.

Fun book store and cafe.

Great Books, Fast Wifi, and Hot Coffee! A great little spot to go sip on a hot latte and read the newspaper, read a book, or get a little work done using the wifi while visiting Ludington. Just across the street from the marina, this place is conveniently located at the Southeast corner of Loomis and and Rath. The staff are always smiling and friendly. Also, there are meeting spaces available for rent for larger groups. We like the lattes here and recommend you try one out!

Wide selection of books and guaranteed to have something you'll want to read. Plus you can grab a coffee to take with you while reading of just to have a coffee. Cheeper than other places and still tastes great.

Curious about something? There’s a book for that.
The Book Mark in downtown Ludington should be your first stop in the morning for any type of coffee you may want. Check this out, they have soy, almond, coconut, skim, 2%, and whole milk, as well as, half-and-half. I personally choose half-and-half, mostly because I still have two holes in my belt buckle to go. They can also flavor your coffee with pretty much anything under the sun.
Aside from your favorite coffee, they also have the areas newspapers. Now before you go and get all “ newspapers are yesterday’s news” on me, let me just say that I was in that boat too but these days I’m finding more joy in having something tangible to hold on to rather than getting sucked into the black hole that is the click bait of the internet. That is correct, there are no popup adds at the Book Mark.
Books! The Book Mark has all sorts kids books; fiction, non-fiction, and everything in between. Heck, I even found a book on the best home designs of the 1920’s! Can’t get much more random than that. They don’t just have reading books here, there is also a huge selection of adult coloring books along with the colored pencils to go with them.
The kids will get lost in the maze of children’s books and stuffed animals while you are looking at the local nick knacks for sale (everything from wine glasses to coffee mugs). I think I even saw some fidget spinners on the counter.
Now that you have your paper and coffee, it is time to leave right? Wrong! There is a huge lounge area and even some tables outside. They also have free WIFI. So kick, back sip on your Mocha, and enjoy the atmosphere and just maybe meet one of the regulars or someone new. If you’re more of the professional type, they also have a private conference room available.
Whatever you are looking for, great coffee, friendly faces, interesting reading material, or simply a place to relax, Book Mark is the perfect coffee house to meet all those needs.
