Had the opportunity to meet the owner & some of the staff this morning. A wonderful small business with plans underway to expand services & programs. The kind of business that defines "small town hospitality"!

We had a great stay at Book Mark over the Labor Day weekend in the rental. It is a great location and the apartment is spacious. The owner Bob is very friendly and welcoming as are his baristas. The bookstore is full of great finds, including Usborne books (a personal favorite), and the cafe has a large and unique selection of drinks.

Awesome little coffee shop. Friendly and inviting atmosphere.

I enjoy shopping at The Book Mark. While their selection of bestsellers is not always current, they have an excellent selection of children's and some young adult books. Plus you can have great beverages while you read!

We loved this local bookstore and purchased several books and an Atlas. Our cell service hasn’t been reliable this far north. The salted caramel latte was delicious!!!!

Great store; support local independent book sellers! Nice selection of local books and the standard publishers, too. The coffee bar is an added plus.

8/21 - Great little bookstore and coffee shop in town. Spent over an hour browsing with the kids and found something for all ages. Also had a great iced coffee for a little caffeine kick. Will certainly stop back in next time we are in town.
8/22 - as promised we returned and once again spent the better part of the morning browsing and selecting our books

Cutest little bookstore in downtown Ludington. Options are somewhat limited but still giving 5 stars, because for what it is, it’s perfect. Quaint little bookstore with puzzles, word puzzles, books for children and adults, a small coffee shop and plenty of space to lounge, read and sip coffee. A must stop on a visit to Ludington, if you’re into that kind of thing.

Seems like one political ideology is highly represented yet the opposing view was not represented. At least not that I saw, I may have simply missed those books/mags. They also had some "children's books" prominently placed that were on some super disturbing topics such as suicide and gender. We chose not to spend any money here. I was going to get coffee but the line was so long I didn't want to wait. I also didn't want anything special and saw pumps/pots on the counter so it looked like I'd wait all that time to get up to the counter to just grab a cup and fill it myself. Perhaps this is just my lack of understanding of how their coffee shop works. I miss readmor. They took out SO MANY books to make room for the coffee shop and seating area. Readmor was better.

What a great bookstore. I found book selections not found in Barnes & Noble or anywhere else. The selection for drawing tools was impressive. the coffee was excellent.
