A sophisticated coffee shop in a small town is always a pleasure. The staff here know how to brew and pour a great cappuccino, and they have several specialties that are worth trying as well. Great energy and attitude.

This is a great cup of coffee (Mad Cap)! And baked good from Sisson’s. Quite the perfect combination.

Just left this establishment without making a purchase because the owner was very rude to two young women who were waiting for the coffees they purchased. They were looking through books that were at the establishment while waiting for their coffee and the owner asked, very loudly, "Are you going to purchase those books?" in a very rude tone while rolling her eyes at them. I was next in line after a lengthy wait and decided to walk out without ordering. Bummer for me since the coffee did smell awesome.

Blue Boat makes actually flavorful espresso and coffee drinks. Delicious scones and croissants as well! Would be a regular here if I lived around the area :)

Decent coffee but typical pricing arrogance of an upscale coffee shop. My only contention is that a small coffee shouldn't be slightly larger than a Dixie cup serving for $3.25. Give me a reasonable serving for fairness sake.

From a distance, I thought this was a random Blue Bottle Coffee Shop (yes, from San Francisco lol). The logo is quite similar.
Even if it’s not the SF coffee chain, Blue Boat is still a great place to stop for a cup of Madcap coffee or a great mocha during your time in Leland, as your walking through Fishtown and the local shops!

They know how to make great coffee at this sweet little place. Looking forward to the day they are back and hoping next summer we can enjoy normal coffee dates again.

While Blue Boat's Coffee is still decent, I miss the option of getting drip coffee. It used to be our favorite coffee place in Michigan, but with only drip coffee available, it is a good coffee joint, but not the best.

Best coffee in town! Also sell Sisson's baked goods! What's not to like?! Service is as quick as possible... given that sometimes they are very, very busy! I'll be back!on

Great coffee from Madcap. It is small inside but they have seating outside when the weather's nice. Good selection of baked goods and friendly service. Highly recommended!
