Service was a bit slow but there wasn't many workers so I can't blame them but the food was very good and I love their amount of selection for fries, bread or ect. And the servers are very nice!

We're from Central Ohio and stayed in L'Anse, MI while sight-seeing in the U.P. on our first family vacation with our 2 year old daughter. This place is a gem. Local, small-town feel and the food is incredible. We ate breakfast here every morning of our stay. The patrons are very friendly and easily spark-up conversation with curious out-of-towners providing useful insights into places to visit and things to see! Thanks for all the pointers Mr. Jim! I highly recommend the Cinnamon French Toast...

I would like to start by saying the food was excellent but service was poor. Staff was friendly but didn’t go beyond handing you your food. When we arrived there were 3 empty/dirty tables as well as 3 empty/dirty seats at the bar. We decided to sit at the bar (which was cleared of the dirty plate but never wiped with the one rag they used that sat on the counter) and watch as the serving staff texted and chatted rather than clearing tables or checking on guests. Empty plates were never cleared and drinks were never refilled. Guests had to take what they needed from the tables around them. We even witnessed a patron clearing tables for guests that were awkwardly waiting in the door without being greeted. Maybe this was just more stressful to watch for my wife and I as we have both previously worked in the restaurant industry, maybe that’s just how things work in the UP but this restaurant could be run much more efficiently!

Awesome brunch burger and sweet potato fries! Kids all loved their meals too. We’ll be back.

Their burgers are to die for. Who ever is cooking there knows how to make a damn good burger. 🥰

Cute local photos on the table. It is a good little diner in the heart of downtown L'Anse. Strawberry waffles are good, coffee is hot, and hashbrowns are crispy.

Love their club sandwich. Legit. Great turkey, moist, and plentiful. Great staff. 2nd trip here from Wisconsin. We went out of our way to come again. Keep up the great service and meals.....

Awesome breakfast! One of the best country fried steaks I have ever had.

In town for the holiday weekend, stopped in for breakfast. Staff was tentative and friendly, quick service and nice big portions. Definitely would recommend them to eat.
