Christopher’s Cafe

Was very happy with the food and service but most happy to see they followed the mask policy keeping people safe 👍. My friend and I were going to go to another restaurant by the river who, even though they had two signs on their door saying you had to have a mask to enter, we're allowing anyone in who wanted to without masks. That restaurant (I feel) doesn't care about other people 😵. I will go to Christopher's again but never to the other one.

Love the steak skillet, great service, wonderful hometown restaurant. The outdoor seating is shaded during the morning, great on hot summer days, wear a jacket in cooler weather. Never had a bad experience and we eat here at least once a week.

Very good breakfast! Excellent service by our waitress. My son has food allergies and she was very accommodating in finding out ingredients for us. We'll definitely be eating there again.

Food was very good, service was good as well. They were very busy but did a good job turning tables to keep the wait down. Would recommend!

Stopped for breakfast. Although we had to stand outside due to social distancing we had a nice visit with others in line and made friends with a couple with whom we shared a table. Food was good and reasonably priced.

Stopped in for breakfast. The service was quick and very friendly! The eggs Benedict was perfect and I highly recommend it. Also enjoyed some warm and delicious oatmeal and tasty OJ!! Great place, very clean and welcoming!

I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and the attentive and friendly cafe staff. Delicious, flavorful, and high quality food. One of my favorite small town diners! Would 10/10 come back!

Samantha, a very sweet hard working young woman, was excellent to work with. She refilled our coffee 3 times before we got around to ordering. The Patty Melt was cooked perfectly, I was put back by the onions, however it was a wonderful meal. My wife had the boneless chicken with fries. Just order the fries. The are cut in an unusual fashion and are delicious. The world of Indian River rolled and walked past the panoramic windows against the backdrop of shops and pubs. There is so much going on you cannot take it all in. All while enjoying a great meal in a beautiful cafe. We are going back.

Good breakfast all 3 times I visited. Nice small town setting. I definitely recommend this place if your in the area.

We went here on the way home from mackinac island. We wanted less touristy more country cooking feel. Well we made the right choice. I got a dish with biscuits gravy and over easy eggs. It was fantastic. My husband loves corn beef hash but is skeptical at times. He said it was amazing true homemade. Our daughter (18m) loved the oatmeal and sticky bun was perfect.

If your looking for good home cooking for breakfast make the short drive off the highway..you won't regret it.
