Always a special treat! Everyone is so friendly and they make us feel special from the minute we walk in the door. Eric makes the best frozen turtles. Thanks for always doing a great job everyone!!!

I had the pumpkin latte yesterday and it was the perfect drink for a cool fall day. It picked up my spirits to walk into the Uptown Coffee House and see friendly faces, along with COVID protocols that make everyone feel safe. I feel lucky to have such a nice coffee shop in downtown Howell and cannot wait to go back and try the pumpkin caramel-pecan latte with whipped cream. I heard that one is delicious, too.

Location is great, with a nice ambiance, good mix of tables and casual seating areas. The service was friendly; coffee beans they use have a great taste, and they have a small selection of tasty pastries. Unfortunately after ordering lattes on two occasions, I received a drink more close to a cappuccino than a latte. If you just want coffee it's a 5 star, but if properly steamed milk is important then it's only a 3 star.

A love the vibe in this little joint. Very funky and comfortable. The atmosphere is very relaxing. The coffee is delicious and they have a lot of options and combinations. The service is great and prompt. The only thing that would make it better would be some fresh pastries and/or food items. Great coffee shop!

Finally some good strong coffee from a local shop! We moved into the area 2 weeks ago and our moving truck (with our coffee maker) has still not arrived... Thank God for this coffee shop and their growlers of cold brew! The staff has been friendly and answered my questions every time I came in. Today there was a decent sized queue, and the barista was kind and cranked through the customers quickly and efficiently. There's a nice amount of seating inside, and if you check the sidestreet outside, there's some really fun outdoor seating as well. I've only gotten cold brew each time, but my husband got a latte today and he was impressed with it. My kids both got a strawberry smoothie the other day and it was good. 10/10 recommend this place! :)

We go here all the time and the Uptown coffee is the best drink!! On a Sunday morning headed to the farmers market is a great time to stop. It gets pretty busy but the staff is efficient and they get the order right every time. We love being able to enjoy a great cup of coffee and support a local business.

This coffee shop has both an excellent location and a fantastic atmosphere inside! Couldn't ask for a better set up in Howell.

That being said, the customer service left much to be desired. Granted, we came in late on a Friday night around 8, but the greeting from the Barista at the counter was not particularly welcoming. Also, I did not realize my drink was ready even though I was right next to the counter, and it was left sitting out for a few minutes.

My challenge to Uptown Coffeehouse is that if the crew maintains a welcoming atmosphere, especially late on the weekend evenings, then they easily have a five-star establishment! Make it a point to strengthen that personalized communication with customers, and you'll have both a coffee shop and shop team to be extremely proud of!

Uptown might be my favorite coffee house. The atmosphere is wonderful and warm and the old building, right in the heart of downtown Howell, is so charming. Every single thing I had there was well made and delicious. Love!

Uptown is my absolute favorite coffeehouse. They make excellent drinks, frozen or hot. The wait time can take a few minutes but it's worth it. I have never had a negative experience here.
