It was terrible. They didn't do any thing to help the married couple. They were supposed to bring dessert but they brought it so late that most people had left. It had started to rain they never came and helped like they did the other couple and it was flooding. The electric was not safe to use during the rain not even grounded. I would not recommend this place at all. Plus they were rude to the bride and groom as well. Not professional at all in my opinion.

Would give it a 0 if I could. The owners and venue completely destroyed my sisters wedding. Her dessert for the wedding of 9 dozen donuts never arrived we had to track down the owner and she replied with stating she thought we came and took the donuts and set them up, which she was supposed to do so I’m not sure why we’d leave my sisters wedding to do the owners job she was paid to do. My sister will be refunded for the donuts. The barn, alter and all 3 silos were flooding during my sisters wedding and owners were no where to be found to help any of the wedding guests and vendors were okay. They had another wedding going at the “big barn” and you could EASILY tell the owners were catering to their most high paying wedding which is VERY unfortunate for my sister who just wanted an amazing wedding day. Electricity kept going out and our GROOM to be had to fix it in the rain with again, no help from the owners. Our wedding guest had to be our coordinator even though one was included with what my sister paid for booking at this HORRIBLE venue. Please choose else where for your big day because if you’re not in the big barn you’re simply not their priority.

My daughter had her wedding here last night. We were highly disappointed in the service of the venue owner and staff. The night before the wedding, at rehearsal, they asked a wedding attendee to stand in as a wedding coordinator!?!? When it was in her contract to have a coordinator. The donut wall that was purchased didn't make it to the venue, the bridal party had to track down the owners and ask for them, this was after 8pm and most of the guest had left. The owners response "we will bring over what we have left". Please don't book this venue for a wedding. Bride and Groom, you get one wedding, spend your money elsewhere or you will be booking a venue that doesn't care about your day. Thank you to all of our guests that stepped up to help!

Visited the farm last year for a retreat, and the venue totally fit that! Dreamy views and the buildings had so much charm. The team at Frugthaven is top notch-handling a massive rainstorm with grace and ease!
I can’t wait to be back in a few weeks!

Nothing very exciting and everything is over priced. Klackles was much better. Had some maternity photos taken here and were told we could have an hour, only to be kicked out after half an hour because they were closed....they knew what time we were arriving and apparently didn't tell us they closed before our hour would be up? And they made us pay to take photos there. So they completely scammed us. What a waste of time and money. Thanks to my wonderful photographer, we still got some great photos in the little time we had.
I also get bad vibes from the owner, and have heard from more than one unhappy bride that the owner ruined their big day by forgetting things and not providing the promised wedding coordinator they paid extra for. Also heard she was very rude, though I've never dealt with her personally.

Lovely venue for a craft market with numerous vendors

Honestly heartbroken. My best friend booked the “little barn”. The little barn includes in the price a day of coordinator, on site bathrooms, and ADA accessibility. The day before the wedding the owner of this establishment appointed the best man’s wife as essentially the event coordinator and passed along the day planner to her. The on-site bathrooms are actually in the front of the building or inside of the market. Not on site of the actual area you’re in. It’s about a 2-3 minute walk towards the main building. They then offered her on site bathrooms at an additional cost just weeks before her wedding. The location is only wheel chair accessible on the paved areas. The alter does not have a paved walk way until you are under the pavilion. The owners came out during the wedding to check on us THREE times all together.The maid of honor put linens on tables while groomsmen moved tables into place on the patio area. The owner ended up coming out to help at that point. (#2 time seeing her 2:15pm). We arrived on site at 10am. And left by 11pm. The bride also asked months in advance if she would be able to go INTO THE APPLE ORCHARD and her coordinator told her she would. During our rehearsal the owner informed us we were not allowed to walk into the orchard! And honestly to top all of that off, she had two event coordinators AND the owners “planning” her wedding. In less than a year of being booked with this venue. In addition to all of this, this venue offers desert in place of wedding cake. The bride chose doughnuts and flavors weeks before the wedding. Day of the wedding the owners forgot her doughnuts. There are two venues on-site and a market and cider bar. We watched them cater to the larger wedding all night and just broke my heart to watch them take care of other things but ghost my best friend! This venue is not staffed for everything they are trying to run. Over the course of almost 12 hours on site I interacted with the owners less that 3 times all day. And almost everyone in attendance can agree to that. Honestly just feel like this venue dropped the ball on my best friends special day and did nothing to provide help for her through the night while it rained out the venue and the areas began to flood. Nothing from the owners. Still not even an email from her today about it! So upset!

This place is super cute and the coffee shop is pretty good. But the bakery could use a little fixing in my honest opinion. Otherwise This is a great place to have morning business meetings or go in for a little trip with the family!
