I was sad to see that Frugthaven no longer sells GOOD and FRESH individual donuts. The donuts they now have are by the dozen($13-14)and NOT fresh! Apparently, it’s too much work to sell individual donuts and it costs more money than it’s worth. I have had more than a few bad donut experiences here, but I get them because they are the only cake donuts in town and that’s all my wife likes. Did I mention they have been making the donuts smaller and smaller to make more profit. It’s all about the money.

BFF HOME GOODS

All local to Michigan, fresh farm produce, meats, coffee shop, breakfast sandwiches, event location, yoga, and a surprise treat of the Two Bones BBQ food truck. Everything and everyone was perfect!

We visited the farm for a retreat and every single thing was pure magic. The grounds, the staff, the attention to detail…all perfect. We are returning again this year and I just can’t wait! I’m so impressed with the experience that they have created at Frugthaven farms, it inspired me to make our business even better!

I enjoy this place. The luminary walk they have out the was very nice. The coffee store in the front was good as well

We brought our son and met our grandchildren there for the Easter egg hunt extravaganza. They had a great time

Definitely need to check out this place. Coffee, donuts, farmers market, beer. It’s got it all. They even have a random barbershop, like I said random… but it’s cute.

My sister just had her wedding here yesterday. While we are so happy for her and her new husband, it is no thanks to this venue. The entire experience was so difficult and disappointing. From the beginning she had to deal with 3 different coordinators, making it so much harder on her to make sure everything was set and to even get replies. The day before the wedding we had a rehearsal where one of my sisters OWN WEDDING GUESTS got asked to be the coordinator on wedding day, very last minute and super unprofessional. They rushed through the rehearsal and then we were informed there would be another wedding on the same day there. Not ideal at all but my sister still tried to be optimistic. On wedding day the owners were basically nowhere to be found. Not all of the tables were set out so we had to do that ourselves. They had 4 silos out by the barn and told us that the last one would be cleaned out and perfect to do some pictures in, not the case. It was dirty and gross and the lights didn't even work in there. They came to check on things a total of one or two times (at the beginning before guests even arrived) and then that was it. Getting music set up was rough because they dj couldn't go in their original spot or it would have interfered with the other wedding so we had to figure out new placement and everything...again the owners were still nowhere to be found and did not offer any assistance with this issue. My sister ordered 9 dozen donuts for the reception and didn't get a cake because this would be desert. Well the donuts were never even brought over to us at all. We set out to find them and they told us that they thought we had come and grabbed them. They ended up bringing us whatever left over donuts they had and said they would refund the donuts. By this time over half of the wedding guests were already gone. We did end up having a rain storm come for about an hour and again, the owners were nowhere in sight and never offered help or assistance to get things moved around (guests, tables, dj equipment, photo booth stuff, etc). Not to mention almost every single building was flooding. We were all very disappointed in this venue and the people "running" it. Anyone looking to have a wedding here save yourselves the money, time and stress and look elsewhere.

***A-V-O-I-D!!!!*** DO. NOT. SHOP. HERE. Cold food and poor customer service seems to be the norm here.

Whether it is adding ingredients to your favorite cup of coffee that you NEVER requested, adding more items than you ordered, or FOOD THAT IS FROZEN at the first bite... quality and customer service is very much lacking here and perfectly acceptable..apparently. So much that the owner believes you'll keep coming back. NOT!!!!

Not to mention the associates normally act inconvenienced or like they are too busy to assist you.

Maybe customers arent that important after all...

11/21 - gave the kaffebar another try. Ordered a breakfast sandwich, took a bite and found HAIR IN THE SANDWICH!!! FAIL!!!

I’ve been to this establishment multiple times as I live down the street and love to support local businesses. The coffee tastes terrible. Multiple times I’ve gotten a coffee to go and they advise me after I paid that they are out of lids. With a toddler that makes things very difficult and honestly pretty dangerous. The donuts are over priced and rarely taste fresh no matter what time of day we go in. The cafe is in the middle of the store they have and it is extremely loud and distracting. The area is cute but that is the only thing it has going for it.
