The espresso pull was large, so I was expecting it to be over extracted. Thankfully, it was not! One of the better espressos I've gotten from a cafe, though the flavors were a bit muted. If I make it back I'll have to try getting a ristretto.

This is our favorite coffee place in Grand Rapids - the roasts are excellent, the drinks are creative, and the food is delicious. It’s not as busy as Ferris or Madcap, but the quality is just as high. A great choice for a quieter study place or a quick pick-me-up!

Coffee was decent, very small selection, didn’t have milk variety (whole or oat only). Small latte for $5+ dollars. Not the worst, definitely not the best.

I've been coming here since it switched from Lightfast to Stovetop- ever since their opening, they've only upped their game.
Their espresso drinks and seasonal specials are always delicious and creative, and their pour overs and batch brew are never too acidic like so many other coffee shops around (I'll just say it: getting a black cup of coffee at Madcap, for example, is like playing coffee roulette). It's a happy spot.
Envision this: It's summertime on Fulton St, you grab a nitro coffee from Stovetop, and head to the farmers market- you have the perfect day.

When they were open for seating thee vibe of the coffee shop was amazing. It is a great place to work on homework, meeting with friends or even interviews! Can I say yum!!! I love coffee! This shop has oat milk as a dairy free option so (Vegetarian and Vegan Friendly) the expresso is perfect (not bitter or burnt tasting) and the chocolate in my Mocha was delicious. Thank you for an amazing experience.
