This is not a coffee nerds coffee shop, but I’d still recommend it. This is a vibey art cafe, serving decent modern coffee, nothing crazy but absolutely a nice place to visit.

The best coffee shop in GR! Inviting atmosphere and wonderful staff! I don’t go anywhere else for the perfect latte! So happy you’ve been able to stick through this pandemic!

Overall, very good experience. Coffee was excellent. Had a pour over of Rwanda and the Brazil SOE. Roasts were on point and brews did very well. Customer service overall was good, but the baristas did not engage me for quite some time while I was at the register. Keep up the great work brewing and make the effort to welcome and initiate conversation with every guest you host.

Stovetop has become my favorite coffee shop in Grand Rapids. Though I love the other local spots, Stovetop consistently delivers on quality of coffee, atmosphere, places to sit, and friendly down to earth staff. I always take my friends there when they visit because I want to show it off. If you haven’t tried it yet, take a trip down to Stovetop.

Not prepared for their take on cappuccino. It was double expresso with a drop of milk. Not a cappuccino. Their chai latte was on spot. Run out of food pretty early. Really hard to find a parking spot other than paid street spots.

Just visited for the first time, and the Honey Bae was absolutely delicious. The staff were so nice and friendly.

I’m not a coffee drinker but this place turned me out! Love the coffee here. Had the Tilly today and buying a bag for the office.

Love Stovetop Coffee! The staff is amazing and I love being part of their coffee community.

Wow! A textbook mocha latte, absolute perfection. Staff was pretty standoffish which, in a town full of good coffee, isn't ideal but their coffee is good enough they can get away with it, I'm sure.

Edit to update that the last few times I've gone with my husband, I've gotten grit at the bottom of my lattes. When I told him this, he mentioned that his lattes have always have grit at the bottom of them. Not sure if this is an issue with straining or the machines needing to be cleaned or what but pretty disappointing after having such a nice first experience.
