I love this place. It's just a few blocks from my house and has great coffee. The prices are more than reasonable and the staff is super friendly. It can get crowded so don't get your hopes up as far as staying unless you don't mind waiting for a table to open up.

My home Cafe. The staff is very friendly and the drinks are well crafted. They also have good teas, food, and some beer available. The atmosphere is super comfy, but getting a table can be a challenge.

Smaller selection of drinks, wider selection of bakery type items with a few sandwiches available. Popular place by the crowd. I'd recommend not getting your muffin warmed up as it burns the top and leaves the middle cold.

Very kind and knowledgeable staff. Great selection of teas from Rishi, and they know how to make a tea latte that is neither too watery or too milky. They have a nice curated selection of beer and wine as well as sandwiches and salads, so you could definitely have a nice, quiet lunch there.

Phenomenal coffee. Fabulous barista humans. Delicious treats. Vibe is on point. This is my go-to coffee shop every time I visit GR.

The food and coffee are lovely, the space is beautiful. Seating is always tight, but it encourages community lol. Pricing is about what you'd expect for fresh pastry and speciality coffee. The staff is always wonderful and friendly, and their music is always on point. It's a really enjoyable coffee shop, I'm just always curious why people try to have meetings here...its beautufuk but there's like no room, and definitely other coffee shops with bigger 3+ person spaces that aren't always full. The shop is smaller, which creates a great environment, and my only "poor" experienced here have been people interrupting me/my partner + I to ask to have our table and move it from under us while we're study because they're meeting people there. But that's not necessarily on the ownership, so just know there's not a ton of seating or outlets, and plan from there!

Crazy good coffee. Some of the best in town. That said, the seating is a little too minimalist and it could benefit from JUST a few more options across the board. But I BARELY feel like I want to take a whole star away because of how good the coffee is, when really... that's what you should judge them for.

Love the atmosphere and drinks here, and staff are friendly. Unfortunately it's usually very crowded, which isn't a problem if you get a seat at one of the normal-sized tables. However, you probably won't without waiting for a while. The small tables don't give you any room to work.

They specialize in pour-over coffee which is strong and interesting. Expensive though, compared to brewed coffee at other coffee shops. The pastries and baked goods are fabulous. Scones, muffins, cakes, bars. Need to go next door for a bagel or quiche though. Despite the "cafe" in the name, the only food is baked goods from Nantucket Baking next door and some specialty desserts from Martha's Vineyard around the corner. This is located in a neighborhood in an upcoming hip area near downtown. In the summer, this place is always cold inside--too cold for me! You can sit outside, though, to enjoy your coffee and a treat.

Lyon is a great neighborhood haunt. And they take advantage of the other great local businesses by selling baked goods from Nantucket and sandwiches and fruit cups from Martha's.
Staff is always friendly. Drinks may take a while when they are busy, I really don't see this as a downside. They craft their coffee drinks, not just throw them together. I DO wish they had caramel or hazelnut flavors. I understand that their menu is very classic coffee drinks, even having a miel and cortado, but sometimes a girl wants an iced americano with a splash of hazelnut or caramel, am I right?
Seating can be iffy. A lot of people like to take up tables meant for groups, but, I guess, coffee shops tend to cater more to singles who are there to concentrate or relax alone. And you can always politely ask to join another solo at their table.
There's seating in the front and back which is nice when the weather isn't crummy.
Atmosphere is perfect: not too sterile and modern, not too dark and mopey. I recommend this place to groups who are doing projects, people catching up, or even a first date, just be courteous to others around you and keep the volume polite, as most of their clientele seems to be studying students.
