The Baker's Rhapsody

This is a hidden gem. Honestly the best danish I've ever had, hands down. The coffee is also amazing. Bigby or starbucks I can barely get a whole drink down. I found myself slamming my coffee abnormally fast lol. We anticipate next year ordering a wedding cake from them. I highly recommend.

On May 14, I sat down at a quaint table at The Baker’s Rhapsody, a small local bakery in Dowagiac, Michigan. With first date jitters making their way to the surface, my now wife and I ordered a cup of coffee and a mouthwatering cupcake that opened our eyes and our hearts to one another. On March 12, My wife and I shared those amazing cupcakes with 100 of our closest friends and family at a brief but mighty brunch reception. Jordan Anderson, I am beyond grateful for your incredible customer service. My gratitude for your wedding cake and cupcakes are poems I wish I could write. Poetry hides in the very fabric your mouthwatering cupcakes are composed of. So, I wanted to share a few photos with you because I would not have met wife if you had not created a space for me in that empty small town for me to meet her. The Baker's Rhapsody is one of my favorite places to be! Jordan and Hector are always friendly and kind. The coffee shop is cute and comfy, and every sweet treat I have tried has been delicious. It's the best place to relax and read a book or do some homework. Their specialty drinks are spot on and taste amazing! If you've never been to the Baker's Rhapsody, you're missing out, you've gotta try it! :)

We ordered a one-tiered wedding cake from The Baker's Rhapsody and oh my goodness was it amazing. First, the bakery allowed us to customize our design and the flavor (Peach Mascarpone!). We were also able to pick up our cake a day early and the pick-up process was incredibly easy. We will definitely order from here again! Cake topper in image not included with cake.

Love the atmosphere of the Baker's Rhapsody! Coffee is perfect and the baked goods are delicious!

Ordered a cake for my daughter's birthday. We mentioned that she loves snakes, the emerald tree boa being her favorite. Didn't request anything more specifically for the design. When I first picked it up it had the beautiful snake skin pattern on the side, but I thought it was a little to subtle for a kid's "snake" cake. The guy working was very accommodating and quickly created the snakes as see on top. She loved the cake and (like all their other baked goods) it was very delicious!

This bakery was such a pleasant (and delicious) surprise! The service was super friendly, coffee made perfectly, and the pastries were amazing! I highly recommend the raspberry cheese danish and the bear claw.

I order my wedding cakes here and they were delicious but they did not decorate them at all. I had talked to them about what I had wanted on the cakes but they didn't do it. They also put black frosting in the middle of the one of the cake. I had told them not to do black frosting after they had told me that it would dye everyone's teeth black. I was super embarrassed of the cakes. Everyone was asking why they looked like that. I was just super disappointed in them especially since we had to pay 325 dollars for them both to look nothing like I asked for.

Remarkable in their welcome and products. They are amazing! We’ve had everything from beverages, cakes, and beyond. It’s my favorite place to get pastries for my family and my team at work. They are huge advocates and promoters of local businesses in addition to their extreme talent.
