Dougie's Coffee Shop & Axe Throwing

Service: Waitress who took our order was very friendly and helpful.

Food: took too long to come out considering no one else was ahead of us. Crepe was not good - inside was dry and overall tasted bland. My boyfriend's waffle sandwich was just fine, but difficult to eat. He said he would have preferred if it were just a sandwich.

Drinks: Americanos were not good. Tasted burnt and left a bitter taste in my mouth. Wouldn't order again.

Decor: Very dark and bar-like for a lunchtime venue. The wall customers sign is cool. Left me wondering if it is a bar or coffee house? I feel like the decor suggests bar.

Been here a few times before. Food never disappoints, but I will not go back. This time we go in, can tell it’s busy and told 1/2 hour wait for our order. No big deal as I know it’s worth it, but 1 hour later told another 20-30 minutes, we had somewhere to be so I politely let them know it’s ok and that I will just cancel my order. Then was told no cancels and no refunds even though I know they had not started my order, all the while, I see people walking in , waiting, not getting helped and walking out.

Where is everyone ?? Showed up and there was a line of people waiting to order and no workers in sight. After waiting in line for 5-10 minutes we heard someone in the back saying it would take 30 minutes. Ugh, seriously ? Also seemed kinda strange inside, empty pallets everywhere, a drumset stuck in the corner, arcade machines, very quiet. I don't know what's going on with this place, but with a line of 6 or 7 people you'd think someone would come out and say something to the customers. I'll try again some other time and possibly change review depending on service and if I'm actually able to order.

I really like everything that was going on here the people were nice even though there was just one person working and three of us taking orders our food got to us in a timely manner and it was absolutely delicious would totally recommend this place to anybody that's looking for a nice location to eat and visit

Cute little coffee shop especially with a lot of sugarfree options! Also their iced coffee has flavored ice cubes so it doesn't water down the coffee. It's a great place to meet a friend and be able to have a conversation.

Great coffee, great food, and an authentic vibe that I thoroughly enjoyed. The owner clearly enjoys what they do and puts their heart into it. We will certainly come back whenever we are in Davison.

1) Overpriced
2) We went there when no one else was in there and the tables were dirty
3) blueberries on my crepes were fermented 🤢
4) Friend didn’t like her sandwich

Had a wonderful brunch stop today.. Service was friendly. Good music , not to loud. Nice atmosphere. Hubby had a whammie sandwich and i had a stuffed french toast. Yummy. Need a refill price for regular coffee. Would def recommend..

Called the cafe inquiring about a barista position and Doug the owner was very rude over the phone. He used an extremely crass tone and seemed almost offended that I called at all. Definitely not going to be dining there anymore.

Edit: his responses to low star reviews are proof of his poor attitude. Probably shouldn't be the face of the storefront.
