Excellent doughnuts, decent price, and helpful staff.

Nice place with a great selection. Clean and professional. They have like 3 store fronts.

This shop caters to the tourists and vacation travellers heading to and from Northern Michigan. The doughnuts and other treats are certainly good, but you'll pay tourist prices for them. This is from my receipt on 5/29/22:
Felony Apple Fritter 4 x $2.49
Long John 2 x $1.99
Topped Cake 2 x $1.49
Amish Style Fried Pie $3.09
Dipped Raised Ring 3 x $2.39
Total for a dozen items = $27.18 !!! I give 5 stars for the goodies, 1 star for the steep prices and there you have my 3 star overall rating.

Good doughnuts coconut long john was dry cherry fritter no chunks of cherry expected more like apple ball fritter better, cake doughnuts was good

The merchandise was funny. A but overpriced. But we certainly bought a bunch. The donuts are larger than most and very tasty. Didnt care for the attitude of the female that helped us. But that will not stop me from going again

First time trying them and i agree they are awesome just as everyone told me. The real way doughnuts should be made. Great job guys!

The original, the best. We've tried going to other locations, but nothing stacks up the Clare branch. Definitely try a squealer, delicious. Also the little Vinny I think it's called, is good.

This place is a must! This is my favorite place to go for a treat with my grands (or alone)! The staff is always friendly and helpful and the donuts are amazing 🤩. My two favorites are the Squealer and the Magic Bars and my hubs loves their Pecan Roll.

They must stop on your way heading north. Great location awesome donuts and a fun place to visit

Sometimes they can be very busy, but the line always move along quickly. This time there was almost no line, so I was able to get out of there quicker than usual! Always good fresh food, and friendly service!
