Callaghan's Coffee Cafe

This is a great location in Brooklyn, MI at the center of the Irish Hills lake country and abouy three (3) miles due north of the Michigan International Speedway.

Callaghan's has all your classic coffee and espresso drinks along with a great assortment of baked goods and light sandwiches. You can buy baked goods from Bliss Bakery, which is a treat, since Bliss is typically a custom baking company.

If you're on the run, there's a drive through, but parking is easy. I recommend going and making some time to enjoy coffee inside with friends. If you need a quiet place to work for a bit, Callaghan's is a great place to have coffee a sandwich and get some work done.

When I'm spending a weekend in Irish Hills, this is where I'm at first thing in the morning.

I love that Brooklyn has a non-chain place to get coffee. Their food is tasty and they are quick to get it out. The atmosphere is great for catching up with friends. The flavored syrup menu is extensive... but I wish there were some house specialties. Not a drink of the week per se, but a couple drinks that they do really well, like a golden milk or matcha or something. I love that there are non-dairy options for milk. There is a Chai latte on the menu but it's made with syrup and just too sweet for me - I wish it was made with the actual spices. Definitely recommend this place over Tim Hortons or whatever other chains are around here. Super friendly staff and I love that they sell goods from other locals in their shop.

The service is always great and the staff do their absolute best! I love the space and if I'm in a rush and can't stop, the online ordering is a awesome time saver. The order is ALWAYS ready before the estimate says it will be.

This has become my preferred place for lattes! Served HOT and tasty. Bliss Bakeshop also has their goodies available for an extra BONUS!

Decided to stop for a coffee passing through and stopped here. I ordered a lavender and honey latte. Wow! I can't say enough about this place. Prices are comparable to other coffee shops, service was fast, and the drink was outstanding. All the options are available and this shop did something no other place does. I asked for the whipped cream option, which usually melts within seconds. Here they use a different type of topping that doesn't disappear into the hot drink. I have to say I am pleased and will visit again next time I pass through.

I really wanted to love this small town coffee place but it was not good. I ordered two drinks and it took forever for them to be ready and then the atmosphere of the cafe is just not what I was hoping for. The coffee didn't taste that great and they were out of all their baked goods.

Great friendly coffee shop. Plenty of room to sit and talk, not too quiet which is good because it doesn't feel like everyone can hear you. Prices are very reasonable. Surprised to find such a good spot in this little town.

This coffee shop was a great stop. I love that they have normal dining room tables opposed to having matching ones. It felt very homey. They also had a lot of cool merchandise. I appreciated that they had non dairy milks to choose from, I believe it was oat, soy, and almond. The service was fast and friendly.

Great coffee and food. Wonderful atomsphere. We'll visit again.

Holy smokes! How pleased was I when I needed a coffee as I was passing through the area. I frequently drive brought and this time I noticed a coffee shop. If you're into flavor and quality coffee this place is for you. But I also seen they have sandwiches and other yummy stuff. Clean, reasonable prices, great flavor. I had an iced frozen Carmel Mocha. Five stars from me. I'll stop every single time.
