Forté Coffee

Nice little coffee shop, the mocha was decent but nothing special. Espresso is decently balanced, but the flavorings were a bit artificial.

Loved the Chai Latte and Cinnamon scone! Friendly service. Warm, welcoming place for LGBTQIA+ which is always nice to see. Front door is heavy and lets in a lot of cold air on windy winter days, so that messes with the atmosphere a tiny bit for patrons who want to sit and talk, but the seating area warmed quickly once the door closed, so not a big deal. They were very accommodating and allowed us to move two tables together for our group. Lots of baked good items to choose from to enjoy with your coffee or tea of choice. I've been to all three Forte locations in the Benton Harbor/St.Joseph area, and I love all of them. Service and quality is always exceptional, and, because of their inclusive stance, they will always be my top choice. 🏳️‍🌈

Great little coffee shop with some classic coffees. They have some small goods to buy/look through if you’re looking for a fun gift for someone.

Coffee was great. Cool little place. The only turn off, the tip prompt after paying $25 for a cup of coffee and a lb. of whole bean coffee, which I'll grind on my own. It's annoying, especially for counter service. Leave a jar out or pay your staff more.

BEST NEW KEPT SECRET ! ! ! ! 20years of seeing almost nothing grow in the BENTON HARBOR DOWNTOWN AREA..... Now I see that the seeds are planted and re-grown many stores and shops. The Shops are everywhere downtown Benton Harbor. Coming back home to see my second adopted family and happy to see the city growing and the Gentrification that is taking place. JOB SCHOOLS EDUCATION are a must Come BH you got this!

Very nice latte. They have some nice bakery and they also do pour over coffee. The guy there was friendly too. For some reason, they also have a printer there in case you need it.

Very nice staff, walks you through the different kinds of coffee. Got a Café Meil that was absolutely amazing. Subbed to milk for coconut milk. Definitely recommend.

First time visiting this place in Benton Harbor, I was looking for a Starbucks. But the closest Starbucks was in another town 15 miles away, this place and all it had to offered was not worth driving 15 minutes away. Friendly customer service, hometown loving folks and some of the best coffee in this small town. Please give them a try and you will see why.

Forte Coffee is my favorite coffeehouse (3 locations) in the SJ/BH area. Great staff, wonderful classic coffee selection and yummy beans to take home. You won't go wrong, and there's definitely a location in every hot spot! And my dog knows I will have treats when I come out.

The owner recommended that my fiance and I go to this location when we were rained out of our engagement pictures. Everyone was super sweet and helpful when we got there. Pair this with the company's values and you've got a wonderful establishment to give your business!
