Great atmosphere if you are lucky to sit outside. A bit overpriced for a family breakfast morning. We did get lucky to have parking right by door. The line was long to order food (15 min standing with kids in a narrow entryway) we came at 1030 on a Sunday so almost past busy hours and felt like they needed more help as the girls couldn’t keep up between delivery, cleanup, and restocking.
Overall would recommend if you appreciate the ambiance the place delivers with the beautiful views and flowers surrounding you.

Between the location on the canal and all the blooming the plants, this place has tons of character! The staff was friendly and the food was amazing. The Alamo Omelet (chorizo and Pico) was outstanding as was the house made blueberry muffin.

I'd like to start out by saying I honestly think this is my second favorite breakfast spot in the area. In my honest opinion it makes The Mason Jar look overrated. The food is awesome. The customer service is great and it's not over priced unlike it's nearby competition. The one draw back is the parking situation. They have a small lot and you have to walk a little bit but not a deal breaker. My girlfriend and I came upon this place last year and couldn't be happier.

Exceptional staff/service! Inviting atmosphere and comfortable seating, especially outside on the patio overlookong the canal. The menu had several healthy options without lacking taste or flavor, we ordered several items and shared. My chai latte was the best I have had and we cannot wait to return!

Gorgeous place where the design was funky and eclectic. We got the fresh juices, smoothies (really banana heavy if you order one), and a strawberry muffin (texture was crumbly and more like a biscuit, but good). There is a roof top you can group to and overlook the river. Benton Harbor is up and coming and this place is a gem.

Couldn't be more pretentious if they tried. Fairly expensive for a mediocre quality, small - medium portion size. I ordered a large cold brew coffee and the prosciutto open faced sandwich. The woman taking my order at the counter was barely paying attention to me as I told her what I wanted which ended up in me getting the wrong order. My time talking to her felt very short and rushed even though they were not busy. Upon finding a table on their patio, I realized that the entire section was overcrowded with potted plants (as they sell them upon request). With the very limited space between tables even the serving staff had difficulties navigating around parties of 3 or more, very poor design choice. Once the food came out and our server had managed to get to the table, I realized that I received the wrong sandwich. I mentioned something to the server and she proceeded with a line of dialogue that made it seem like it was my fault and that she wasn't going to do anything about it. Since I work in the service industry I accepted the incorrect sandwich and didn't cause a problem, even though I had already paid and tipped prior to sitting down. For $12 I got one English muffin (I believe) cut in half and topped with avocado, tomato and chorizo. Not awful but for a sit-down restaurant I expected a bigger portion than what I received. I washed it down with my cold brew, which was weak and almost bland. I drink it black so I was expecting a robust flavor, especially from a self proclaimed coffee house; Biggby has better cold brew than Clifford's Coffee Canal. Overall the vibe I got from the staff was apathetic and borderline elitist, as if my experience at their establishment was meaningless. I don't live in St. Joe but if I ever retuen I won't be going back to Clifford's Coffee Canal and I would discourage others from going. You'll get a better experience at an inner-city McDonald's at 2am

This may be the best coffee shop in the area. They have great food, smoothies, and coffee. Their cold brew coffee is excellent, which is hard to find in the around here.
The atmosphere is also fantastic. Rustic, with live plants everywhere. Free wifi for customers. Both indoor seating and an outdoor patio, right on the water.
There is also a sweet dog that greets you and loves to be pet!

This place is SO good. Charming, good menu selection, delicious coffee, and friendly and sincere staff. They have waterfront seating and a third floor balcony (which I highly recommend), where you can sip underneath umbrellas while surrounded by lush plants and the sounds of the marina.

Lived in this area for about 6 months and this was my favorite place for breakfast. A little more expensive but the quality of food and the atmosphere are UNMATCHED. Located right on the water, absolutely must see in the summer (especially if you like flowers). Highly recommend.

This place has trendy decor and friendly staff. The drinks and food are delicious. It's the best chill/party spot in the area. My family rented out the dock by the water for my father's 60th birthday. Cliffords catered it. It was a beautiful setting. Everyone loved the food and had a great time. I highly recommend this becoming your usual spot.
