Sweetwater's Donut Mill

Skip the Capital Ave location. Can't believe they are the same company as the other stores. You go from "best doughnut" at Stadium Drive to "gas station doughnut " at Capitol Ave.

Very friendly service, and a HUGE selection of the most awesome donuts and muffins around. I made a special detour there today because the donuts are that good! I wish there was a shop closer to me, but it's probably a good thing there isn't lol!

Best donuts ever, hands down! Yes, occasionally the staff can be short, but I think its just because it can be absolutely nuts in there - especially weekend a.m.s and holidays. However, they've always made an effort to be gracious and patient even when it's Sunday a.m. church madness and my little ones are taking their sweet time choosing. Loved this place since my grandpa took me when I was little!!

Stopped by here cause a friend told me it was a must, to my surprise there was a line out the door. When me and my wife arrived. The line moved fast. The donuts were worth the drive. Very reasonably priced will defiantly check it out again.

Beats Crispy Cream donuts hands down. Best donuts you will find in Michigan or possibly the world. Of course not talking about gourmet donuts, but pretty darn close.
Excellent customer service! Very busy...good selection. Small area, out dated. But donuts make up for it.

BEWARE: My boyfriend and I went in there yesterday and got 3 glazed donuts and 3 Reese's Donuts, only to get home and find mold on our Donuts, which were also rock hard and stale. Sweet Waters used to be the place to go but clearly they fell off somewhere. We will absolutely not be back, nor do I recommend them anymore.

My visit to the bakery was good last week. The service was awesome. However, I ordered several cream filled and one white fluff donut they were wonderful. I ordered two apple fritters and I was disappointed. The oil they were fried in was old and they had a burnt taste. I would not purchase apple fritters again. Kudos to Plainwell's Sweetwater Bakery their apple fritters are the BEST and my mouth waters when I think about their apple fritters.

My friend and I went in last week and picked up some donuts, everything was okay... Except the 2 Apple fritters we got had absolutely nothing in them. Seriously! No apple and no cinnamon. I contacted them and sent them pictures of the fruitless donut and they claimed that they could see apple chunks in it. They offered to give me 2 free apple fritters but their customer service left a bad taste in my mouth.
