Odd Meter is a gem in the heart of Salem; this little bright spot of a coffee shop makes me feel at home again. They remembered my name off the bat and made friendly, easy conversation whilst making my delicious Earl Grey latte. Nope, I'm not a coffee drinker, but felt like the 'not coffee' options were awesome, tasty and not an after thought.
Be sure to check out their website for their values; by grabbing a coffee or tea or pastry at Odd Meter, you support a local business that offers a their employees a decent living, emphasizes the importance of diversity, and respects and loves nature. Will definitely be recommending to everyone and anyone looking for a great brew in Salem.

A total gem! The staff is so kind and they take pride in their many creative concoctions, in addition to espresso classics. Try the Kyoto cold brew: magical!

I'm not exaggerating when I say everyone here from staff to customers are the BEST. It's just that kind of vibe.
We love the seasonal drinks and the tea lattes. Their merch is super cute too!

This is the furthest coffee shop from our apartment and we still make a point to come here multiple times a week. Everything about this place is great - it should be your first stop off the train from Boston. Great product (the spiced iced and seasonal Candian Shaken are our current faves); open, talented, and warm personnel; lively decor. They make the effort to learn who their customers are - Eric remembered my regular order after two visits. For a splurge, the Candian Shaken is so good that I usually finish it on the 10 minute walk home. They fit right into the local Salem scene and are doing great work. Glad to have them!

Lovely staff and beautiful store, coffee was average but great location and you'll have a good time.

Excellent coffee, the reviews are real, I’m not a fan of sweet coffee and I tried the two seasonal drinks spring bunny and cardamom latte and they were amazing and perfectly sweetened on the lighter side to where you could really taste all the flavors.

Best coffee in Salem! Their basics (lattes, drip coffee, cold brew, etc) are divine and the seasonal latte and drink flavors they come up with are out of this world! A must go when in Salem.

Spent the weekend in Salem, MA and wanted more than the k-cup coffee offered by our Inn. So glad we ventured out on an early Easter morning and stumbled upon this little gem of a coffee shop. The owners were welcoming, friendly and served up fresh, hot, roasty and delicious coffee. What a great start to a chilly New England morning!

Super friendly, and they use a broad selection of George Howell beans, which are delicious! Great pour-overs, too.

Way too much. How is it possible to place and order for something.... Like let's say a green tea with lemon. And your told they don't have lemon but will flavor it with something and make it a little sweet. You get your green tea and it is purple in color and tastes worse then if you would lick your vehicle's tires. Hope everyone enjoys this
