The Blue Monkey - Café & Bistro

Service was terrible. Waited 10 min to even be greeted-the waiter literally had his back to us and I had to ask him for a table. When we finally were seated (after 15 min), I was unsure about my order and was told he’ll be back to take it-he never came back. My boyfriends order came and I didn’t order yet-the woman serving his food took my order and rushed it out-she was great. The latte was good and the avocado toast was good.

Tasty avocado toast, filling omelets and home cooked breakfasts are abundant here. I had the eggs Benedict which were filling and large portions, but the hollandaise was a little bland (not a deal breaker, will gladly order it again when I'm here next visit).
A great crew makes it a very welcoming restaurant for guests of all walks of life.

Good selection of treats made right at the location - I loved that the treats were not too sweet; although, on the pricier side (like a lot of things in the town). It’s right in the town center, within a few minute walk from the public parking lots.

Loved everything about this place. Excellent service and food was amazing. Definitely try the home fries as they are the best. Excited to come back later today for gelato. Highly recommend

Apple fritter, the apples were not cored properly. Chunks of the core was on apples. The crust was ok as was the coating. For the price it should of been excellent.

A casual cafe with a gelato and pastries counter. Prices are not dirt cheap but they are reasonable. We had the big breakfast and split it between us. We were able to compliment the cook who was just on the other side of the counter. The coffee was quite good. We liked theplace so much we came back for excellent gelato in the afternoon. The cafe isn't suitable for quiet dining!

I was passing by and a customer raved how great the eggs Benedict were. So we made time to go by and try their eggs Benedict. The service began okay we ordered a traditional eggs ben and a smoked salmon eggs Benedict. The poached egg was cold and practically a hard boiled egg the hollandaise sauce was cold on both the dishes. When we returned the meal to have to eggs redone it was definitely frowned upon.
The cooks came out to stare at us the server had one bring our check to us. It felt very intimidating.
We received our breakfast and the eggs went from hard eggs to extremely running egg. This place is over rated on the breakfast scale and service.

Food was cold but edible, coffee was almost luke-warm and a bit crunchy (grounds), service and smiles were non-existent, prices were astronomical, one star for this place is an over-rating. Wasted opportunity for a good experience somewhere else!
