Olive's Coffee & Bakehouse

I went for the first time today to try this place out after reading several positive reviews. I ordered a large Mocha Latte and two pieces of coffee cake. The latte was just okay, it tasted like a generic chocolate syrup was used. It could be greatly improved by using a better chocolate. Both pieces of coffee cake were stale and just not very good. I tried calling the contact number and it was busy for over 45 minutes. I noticed that Olivia’s had donuts. However they order the donuts from another local vendor. The place was impeccably clean and the staff was very friendly. This place just recently opened so they deserve a second chance. I will return and just hope my next visit is better

I ventured to Olive's today that was just opening. I had a Wonderful Experience!!! The owner and staff are Very Friendly! Food and coffee was lovely & the atmosphere was SO CUTE!!! GREAT JOB with the design of the new shop!!! If you want an AWESOME experience or a great way to start your day, head to Olive's. Be sure to stop here next time you're in Newburyport, you won't regret it. Many Blessings for your new adventure in the area.

We love Olive's! I live within walking distance and stop by often. All of the staff is very nice and I have never had a negative experience here. Definitely recommend!

i really love these guys. they carry themselves very well on busy mornings compared to my experiences in other local shops and their product and drinks are always satisfactory. the ladies here are kind and professional and it quickly became my favorite spot for coffee and pastries.

Olives is literally the reason we will never move out of the area. The staff are so kind, the pastries fresh and delicious, and the breakfast sandwiches-so good! Couldn’t love it all more.

Nice variety of high quality baked goods and drinks. They also have a backyard area with lounge chairs. Laidback place to enjoy your tea or coffee outdoors. Good neighborhood spot.

I really want to like Olives. Good feel, pleasant staff but this is the second time I got a blueberry muffin to go only to find it burnt on top. When I saw the muffins on in the display case they looked perfect then I get this burnt one. Then today 7:35 on a Friday morning no eggs for a egg sandwich? What? Are you kidding me. I hope they get their food act together because it’s a tough business. I’m moving on already.
