Staff was very polite and helpful. I have never been before now. I tried one of their muffins while I was waiting to speak with a cake decorator as I was visiting due to the wedding and being on the hunt for a wedding cake. The muffin was so moist and full of flavor. I can't wait to see how the cake turns out😊

Whether it's breakfast, lunch, or just a muffin and coffee, Muffin House delivers consistently delicious food and beverages. With quick and friendly service accompanied by a New England atmosphere, it's hard to get better than this!

I've had their muffins, coffee and cream cheese danish. All excellent. I never thought I'd find a blueberry muffin as good as Jordan Marsh before they jacked up the price and lowered the quality. But I was wrong. The Muffin House's blueberry muffin far surpasses Jordan's. Plus the worker's there are always friendly, even when they are swamped.

For the first time we ordered 'catering' from Muffin House - cannolis for a gender reveal party. The team went way above and beyond what we could have asked for! They had never done color filled cannolis before, and asked to give us a day to test to make sure the color didn't bleed through. They were unbelievably kind, friendly, and accommodating. It was a wonderful experience to work with them. They also offered to add blue and pink white chocolate drizzle, and added colored candies on top, too. They were better than I could have imagined!
I usually get breakfast sandwiches from Muffin House, and they are my absolute favorite. After this experience, I know we will exclusively use Muffin House for all of our bakery needs. THANK YOU to the team who helped us!!!

From one local business to another THANK YOU. The customer service and food at the muffin house are out of this world!! Not only do they have best muffins around, but bakery goods as well from bagels, cupcakes and cakes. Our kids are always anxiously awaiting the weekend to take a trip to the muffin house. This family owned establishment truly goes above and beyond in everything they do both inside and outside of the business. Sheldon and his Muffin House team were there to support other locally owned small businesses during some of the most difficult times during the pandemic. We are grateful for the Muffin House to continually support our small business, but more importantly for all of the wonderful memories we have made as a family here at the Muffin House.

On Tues., April 19th I dropped in for lunch. I tend to like the food here but am not always crazy about the service or the way in which the place is run. After a customer before me placed his order the counter person disappeared. After waiting conspicuously for service for about three minutes while 3 or 4 employees moved around the area behind the counter or engaged in conversation with each other, a woman who appeared to be supervising the crew came to me and took my order. She was very nice to me and helpful. I paid for my order and sipped on my coffee while waiting for my sandwich. While waiting, some guy who appeared to be holding court at the end of the counter attracted the attention of 3 or 4 of the staff, some of whom, I believe, could have been waiting on customers. Despite all of the seeming help available, the supervisor wound up having to work the grill with one of the employees. The same woman who took my order rang me up by handling cash. She also went on to handle food. The MH uses a pager system to let you know when your order is ready. When my pager went off nobody called out my pager's number. The supervisor just placed my order on the end of the counter opposite to where I was standing. Finally, I had to walk over to the supervisor to ask her if the white bag in front of her was my order. Turned out that it was. My biggest gripes with the MH are that there are too many people behind the counters which appears to make for confusion and wasted energy and being ignored by waitstaff who seem to lack focus and attentiveness. I believe that the restaurant could be better operated with fewer counter staff and counter staff who are assigned to specific tasks and stick to them. Also, it's unsanitary to have food preparers handling money. Have one person operate the cash register. That way, any shortages can be attributed to that person.
Respectfully,

I've been there twice, had great service both times. Called in to order a single sandwich and was told they weren't taking phone orders and I had to order online. Asked if I could pay cash still if I ordered online and was told no. As a person that tries to buy local and pay with cash so the credit card companies don't take all the profits of small businesses I find it absurd that I can't pay with cash at a local small business

This is a really great little family eatery. They have a few venues in the area now, but I think this was the first one.
I've had breakfast here of a weekend a couple of times. A coffee and blueberry muffin is a great stay to the day!
Their muffins are huge and delicious. The other sweet stuff is nice but the muffins really is where it's at.
The service is super friendly and you can tell from the other families in that this is a proper local hangout.
