I absolutely adore the energy that this place gives off! It's a great environment and a perfect place do quietly do your work or to network with some really great members of the Community. This is by far my favorite place to be when I have extra time, plus they've got the best Kombucha around! BONUS: They serve alcohol, food including salads, sandwiches, desserts, and specialty coffee items!

High quality experience. The coffee is excellent. Cappuccino's, lattes, specialty drinks are spot on. The food is great too, breakfast goods, lunch sandwiches, soup. That's what we were super impressed with. Some places have GREAT coffee and so-so food. Other places have GREAT food and so-so coffee. Battle Grounds knocks it out of the park on both fronts. The atmosphere is great too. Cool old building, brick, wood, tin ceiling but modernized and clean. Choices of seating from high-tops to bars to couches to tables. Service was excellent. Staff was engaging enough and attentive to our needs. My only minor gripe is the wifi was pretty slow. The place was not overly busy and was only seeing 4-5Mbps per device. I would give this place 5-1/2 stars if it beefed up its wireless. Sincerely though, this place is an easy 5 stars.

Best breakfast sandwich in the area! Great owners, awesome staff. They also have some pretty cool musicians here on occasion.

Great angus chili. Amazing new steak sandwiches. Life changing. Scones are great but often out of stock. Coffee is rather strong even as a latte. Steak sandwiches are a good value and I’m craving one right now

I enjoyed super tasty grilled cheese and tomato soup, complete with gherkins, on a snowy night. Fancy teas and lattes. Breakfast all day and evening. The service is better than I've seen anywhere in a long time. The place is run by a veteran and employs veterans.

A bit pricy, but the food is hearty and well worth it.

A friend of mine calls this, “The only cool place in Haverhill.” It is situated in the lovely downtown area of the city. The coffee is fantastic, and this is the only spot I know that makes real, loose leaf tea. They use Mem Tea, which is a local company based out of Cambridge, MA. It is surprisingly spacious, and the owners are incredibly nice. Dana, the co-owners wife, kindly took my plate on my first visit. The food is slightly overpriced, but good. Everything else is reasonably priced. For those less socially inclined, they have board games and books.

Cool new spot in beautifully restored space that's a great addition to downtown Haverhill. Love the refinished original floors and ceiling. Great cup of coffee served with a pleasant smile. Looking forward to trying a Gourmet Grilled Cheese with cold beer that's on tap.

Best coffee I've had in a long time! Worth a trip to Haverhill. Staff was friendly and could talk both coffee and any topics of the day. They roast their own beans (which you can buy), can make any coffee in house, have food, beer, wine and kombucha. It gets better, it's family and veteran owned. They serve their community and are a gathering place for Vets. Keep up the good work and coffee drinkers should not miss this place!!

FINALLY!!!!! A great coffee shop has found its way to downtown Haverhill. The coffee is great! If you like cold brew you need to stop by and try it. They also offer pour over coffee. The atmosphere is awesome. It's the type of place you can bring your laptop to write, catch up with a friend, and unwind with a good book.
