Stepped into a sweet small cafe. Taking a minute to orient myself, I noticed customer restrooms were easily found, and a wall of fridges to my left, just beyond customer seating, full of bottled drinks and beers . Stepping to the counter i saw a case of baked goods, and boards with excellent sounding sandwiches and a plethora of coffee drinks. The woman at the counter was very nice when I asked about the Portuguese English muffins and the cold brew. During my order she picked up on the fact that I am lactose intolerant and warned me of any hidden dairies that might be problematic.
Food was lovely and hot, and the cold brew is excellent! I'll definitely be stopping by again!

Great bfast sandwiches made to order...soo delicious! And the cinnamon buns were amazing! Very clean...plus there is ample seating if you want to eat there. Beautiful inside..has a country feel! They even have locally made beer for sale in their cooler. Highly recommend checking this place out!

Great little spot. It's really your now typical local coffee shop. Good coffee, good breakfast.

Stopped in today for the first time to get an idea what they offer! Not much inventory in the display cases! Purchased a cinnamon roll! Haven't tried it yet as i had a dental cleaning! I'll have to come back and try their sandwiches and then i'll update this review! Parking is simple here!

Laura went out of her way to make things work for our crew that was working in town over the weekend. She opened up early just for us, cooked up a bunch of egg sandwiches two mornings in a row, and made everything easy. Our crew loved the sandwiches. Now I look forward to trying them on a cheddar biscuit. Thanks Laura!

Breakfast sandwiches are great on a Portuguese bun excellent.

Love this cafe, in only a couple of months it has become a staple and community gathering spot. My coworkers and I are fussy about lattes/cappuccinos and they are consistently perfect. I noticed they will soon have artisan breads, can't wait.

The store was clean and the pastry all looked good. The parking lot isn't paved. The display cases were all empty. There's no prices posted anywhere. The selection was very limited. The coffee was unfortunately nothing short of awful; even the "medium roast" was so burnt and acrid that my girlfriend and I had to both discard ours nearly untouched. The seating is limited to a few small, hard tables and chairs with no cozy feeling spots inside. Bittersweet is clearly off to a very slow start, so maybe we'll try again in a year or two, if they're still open.

Super friendly staff is ready to give recommendations if you need them, but honestly you can’t go wrong with anything in the case! Coffee is flavorful and locally sourced. Deerfield is lucky to have this new, beautiful, and delicious addition to the community. We’ll be back soon!
