1369 Coffee House

One of the few staple non chain coffee shops that continues to get better with time.

Oh my god, closing at 2pm in the middle of the week on the busiest street in a city of more than 100,000 people? Just so depressing. You try to patronize local businesses but the only things open are chains. Two years ago such hours might have made sense — not anymore.

Stopped here for a coffee and breakfast sandwich while my car was being serviced down the road. I got the rocket sandwich and was in absolute heaven! The coffee is also top notch, I got a café au lait and loved it. I'll certainly be back next time I am in the neighborhood!

1369 Coffee House is a Cambridge vibe kind of place. GREAT coffee, including decaf. they serve wonderful food, tasty selection and they do it all well. Even on my own, there is always some local art on the walls or someone I know in the shop.

1369 is my favorite local coffee shop! Good coffee, good pastries (especially the apricot ginger scones!), and friendly baristas.

I LOVE this place. Always a great, accommodating , knowledgeable staff. Today was great service and exceptional drinks of 4 different types. Used to go the the original 1369 decades ago with mom. Her daily habit.

Amazing black coffee with fantastic flavor. No Starbucks quality watered charcoal to be had here. The turkey and apple sandwich is also fantastic, as is their bread pudding. Pretty intense wait in the morning, though, and there is often no available seating.

Good coffee, great people. I've been coming here more recently just because I'm so glad the staff unionized.

This is a great spot! It can be busy in the mornings, but that's expected. The coffee cake and the chili hot chocolate are perfect for a cold winter day. And for the bagel fans out there, they carry the rarified scallion cream cheese I'm always hunting for! Love this place.

Is anyone else talking about how good their scones are!? 1369 also happens to make the only oat milk latte that doesn’t taste like pulverized wood chips—theirs if delightfully creamy (and strong). Good vibe, good music. Crowded for a reason. Expect a bit of a wait.
