August 2022:
Stopped by for a drip coffee ☕ and an oatmeal. The oatmeal is a third party and not their own.
Coffee was really good. It's been over 10+ years since I've had their coffee in Chicago. Definitely before they got bought out by Peet's Coffee.
I'm glad they still select excellent coffee beans and take pride in roasting their beans.
Oatmeal was less enjoyable. Probably wouldn't get that again and would try one of their baked goods!

Great coffee for the "coffee snobs". Great service from Yvonne. She made us some solid pour overs.

Out of all of the coffee shops in Boston, Intelligentsia is extremely underrated. It is far better than Tatte or George Howell, or any of the popular names thrown around. Every time my latte here is smooth, not acidic at all, and creamy. The barista with dark hair that works here (I don't know her name) is incredibly talented and just does an amazing job every time! I have seen other baristas receiving awards for mediocre, acidic, inconsistent lattes and she is better than every one of them.

Far superior coffee and tea - compared to the usual offerings = from *that ginormous chain.
Gorgeous environment.
Friendly baristas.
Win - win

Very good coffee. Delicious pastries. Everything seems natural.
Service is great as well.
Definitely recommend to come here especially if you'd like to get some privacy.

This cafe is located inside the lobby of one of the commercial buildings in downtown.
While I did enjoy it at first, I found that the espresso was too acidic for my stomach. The barista is consistent though and if you can handle it, I do recommend coming by.
The janitor is always vacuuming in the lobby when I came by so it got pretty annoying to hear as I tried to enjoy my coffee.

Got the a large latte with an extra shot but it still tasted quite weak. Milk was frothed well at least.

Great atmosphere, simply amazing coffee. It is really pricey however. I paid $4.81 for a small cup of drip coffee.

Exceptional coffee brewed to perfection right between Equinox and Sweetgreen. (You seriously don’t ever need to leave this block, for any reason.) Get a cortado and enjoy. Also, their Black cat roast is excellent for drip as well as for espresso, and a very good deal.
