Colorful and funky cafe with very welcoming staff. Owner gave me a discount on my almond mocha latte because they ran out of chai. Located right outside Mass Ave T Station so it seems like a great place to meet or so work.

They claim they offer Ethiopia's finest brew. That very well might be so, but it's definitely not about their coffee. Which is quite all right, I might say. However, it is very very far from finest, that's for sure. As for the interior design and ambience - it's kinda weird and not in a good sense.

Nice outside tents for winter, played some trivial pursuit from 1981, which was fun. Service was okay, and the coffee was nothing to write home about but nice. A good place to catch up with friends during COVID, but a little confusing.

A quintessential little coffee shop with chatty friendly staff and great iced coffee. The walls are adorned with quotes and signatures and whatever other grafitti the patrons have scribbled over the paint. Great place to stop for a breather.

My favorite coffee shop in the area. It has a cozy, homey interior with paint and writing all over the walls, friendly staff, and comfy chairs and benches to sit on. The food here is the cheapest you can get at a coffee shop, but still delicious and fresh. A bagel with egg, cheese, and add-ons is only a few dollars, and it's perfect once you add on their delicious coffee. They also have a lot of vegan and vegetarian options, including almond milk for your drink, sandwiches, and muffins.
There is free Wi-Fi, plenty of places to charge your phone, and a lot of seating. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I've sat here for hours before to concentrate on my work. I'll be back for more! :)

I go here quite often whenever I meet a friend for coffee. They have quite a different vibe from your normal Starbucks type coffee shop. They records up on the wall as well as a chalkboard wall. They even have a sign displaying the next train arriving at Mass Ave Orange line if you are trying to get a coffee before making your train!

Good atmosphere for reading, thinking, and spending time alone. The artwork is interesting - read the walls.

The vibe of this place is fantastic. Service was great as well. However I go to a coffee shop primarily for the coffee and this is where it fell short. The coffee was simply too hot. The milk was burned. Secondly, if ordering a coffee to drink in, it would be ideal to have a porcelain cup. I don't want to add to landfill when not required.

A very quaint, & eccentric looking coffee shop!
The owner works behind the counter ( very friendly African American man) and is very accommodating by making your food or coffee just the way you enjoy.
An example, I wanted just a plate of sliced avacados, although not on the menu, the owner whipped the avocados into a smoothie!
The Store is very popular with the college crowd.
The Expresso is made from scratch, unlike Starbucks that utilizes a machine. Check this place out!
The store also serves breakfast & lunch types sandwiches 'Made to order' unlike Starbucks.
