Ordered a latte half almond/half oat milk and was upcharged twice for each. This is a big problem in the cafe industry to continue to take advantage of those that can’t drink dairy when the dairy alternative milks do not cost any more than regular milk nowadays.

Also ordered an egg croissant. It came to me soft, rubbery, and a million degrees. When It finally cooled down 10 min later It tasted like cardboard. Requested an alternative bread and alternative method of preparation since the staff said they put It in an “oven to melt the cheese”. So I switched It to a bagel. Thinking they’ll toast the bagel in which the hot egg and the toasted bagel will naturally melt the cheese. Wrong. They brought me the same boiling hot rubbery mess of a sandwich. After another ten minutes of waiting til I wouldn’t burn myself I sprinkled some salt inside to make it more edible. It was still so awful, between the consistency and the flavor, or lack thereof. If the owner reads this, please change the way your breakfast sandwiches are made. Even McDonald’s doesn’t do that. If you don’t agree, I challenge you to eat one yourself…sans meat.

Great little quaint place. Customer service was excellent. The food was fresh and good and my espresso was outstanding. I love that they play quiet jazz music, and the bathroom was super clean. Nothing but good to say. One of my new favorite places.

I really can't give this place a thorough review. I only stopped in to buy a diet Coke, and use the rest room. The Coke was refreshing. I should say the girl at the counter was very friendly and cheerful. It would be worth stopping by again just to see her smile.

Great place - just the kind of coffee shop that this town (and every town!) needs. The coffee and food were both good, but what really makes this place were the kindness and attention of the owners. Through no fault of theirs, my car happened to be towed while I was visiting (watch out, visitors - many of the parking signs around town are vague, and the towing companies seem particularly aggressive here!) and the owner went out of his way to drive me to the towing lot. I won't forget that kindness and hope to return to support this wonderful local small business next time I am in town!

I love this spot! Great food, I've tried most of the items on the menu, plus the attitude and vibe by the staff is always positive.

My friend and I met to do some work here in March 2020. The staff members were very friendly. The food was great. The restroom was clean. The music and atmosphere was amazing! They even asked about our experience finding parking! Oh and be sure to try the local made juice; it was very tasty and refreshing!

We visited Main Street Coffee and Treats today for brunch in Upper Marlboro and was so pleased to finally have a 5-star coffee shop with an abundance of meal selections. I absolutely love the ambiance and the service. We will definitely visit again. The sweet potato cake and vegetable chili are sublime! Thanks for bringing this special brand of goodness to the neighborhood! (re: Mr. Nephew)

I found this little treasure when googling Black Owned coffee shops! It was very clean..very quaint with outdoor seating. The owner was a joy to talk to about many things...I not only purchased coffee and a treat but also a kale juice and Irish Sea Moss. Highly recommend trying them out!!
