I never seen a coffee shop microwave their eggs or not have tomatoes on menu. The food here is trash. The most plainest, mid, dry bagel I have ever ate in my life. Also if you are going to have someone taking food orders then teach that person to speak up or give them a mic smh

My coworkers and I love going to this place for breakfast sandwiches and coffee but as of lately they seem to be closed more than opened. Today I went to the place located next door to them and saw about 3 or 4 people go pull on their door handle for lunch only to find out that they were closed once again. Based on the note on the door it appears that they are constantly closed due to staffing issues. I love this place so much that I have even referred people to apply! They have a help wanted sign in the window and when I asked about the position I was told that you have to send an email. I would think due to the amount of time that they spend being closed because of staffing issues they would at least have applications in store or online (indeed, zip recruiter, social media etc) I really want to see this place succeed and stay open. I'm truly writing this review hoping that things change

I adore this cafe. It's quint cute, and the service is always impeccable. The coffee is strong the danishes are fresh. Don't forget to try their pound cake if they have any left lol.

I tried the fruit and ginger drink with seasons- quite yummy. And I got great service from Sanja behind the counter!

Absolutely amazing!! We found out about this place from a posting on NextDoor and decided to try it out. We were not disappointed!!
We both ordered breakfast croissants- one bacon and one sausage. Bacon was amazing and surprisingly not salty. Sausage was good and super peppery!
We also got a chai tea latte and a coffee both of which were great! Would definitely come here for my chai over Starbucks any day!
They were quick, courteous, and we had a great sit-down experience. They quickly gave us plates when they saw that we were dining in and not doing take out which I thought was a nice touch.
Another bonus...this is a black-owned establishment! We love supporting the little businesses in the area. We will definitely be back!!

Absolutely great service and great atmosphere. Family owned friendly business and the food and beverages are tasty. Even got a sample of the vegan tuna. 😊

We stopped here randomly after our favorite local coffee shop in Chesapeake Beach was closed for the MLK holiday. Let me tell you what a delightful surprise this place was! Everyone working was so polite, friendly, and helpful. The place was clean and decorated nicely. The food and coffee was amazing. Between the four of us we got two lattes, a mocha, a cold brew, a muffin, a danish, a tuna sandwich (with a hint of heat!), and the chicken pasta. Everything was delicious! I really appreciate that even though it was a holiday and we weren’t this place’s usual/regular customers, they treated us very warmly. It made our day so great and we hope that we made their day a little better in return! Will definitely be coming here more on our way into DC from CB!
