Takoma Beverage Company is located at 6917 Laurel Ave, Takoma Park in pleasant town center surroundings. The baristas turn around desirable coffee/tea/hot chocolate and the spacious cafe is appointed with furnishings and decor that lend a personable warmth to the establishment. Expect to see social and laptop patrons in equal measure by day. Judging by the online activity the cafe appears to have robust WiFi service. Nearby parking is available.

I only had tea. The tea was good and food smelled amazing but what I really liked was the atmosphere! I am definitely going back!

Best coffee shop in town. They have amazing pastries, chai, coffee, hot chocolate, you name it! Never any place better in town for brunch or an afternoon snack, whole family loves it and the owner is very nice.

I live almost an hour away and anytime I’m in the area I always stop. But after today I don’t know if I can, staff was rude from the cashier to the person who made my drink. I also asked for extra sugar since it’s not self serve anymore and a very rude barista threw two packets of sugar on the counter to me and didn’t say a word to me even though I said please and thank you.

Friendly staff who enjoy what they do. Coffee always perfect, especially on a cold rainy day like today!

Food and wifi are good but there really isn’t any service—just a QR code type situation. No one comes out to welcome you or address questions on the menu. I left a poor tip because there wasn’t any service.

Nice chilled place for cocktails

Lovely brunch spot with a great drink menu for all, including non-drinkers. They have good outdoor patio seating. The hot drinks are a nice selection and the menu varies every now and then to add seasonal drinks. The location is great, by the Sunday farmers market and a very walkable strip full of lots of artsy boutiques, and other stores and food establishments. The prices are affordable too.

I wish I could stick with my first evaluation, but we've eaten in the outdoor tent several times lately, and the place needs attention. We've eaten in sidewalk bistros in rich and poor countries; none had squashed food, dead plants, paper napkin rings, plastic cups, straw wrappers and last fall's decaying leaves among the tables.

Sweep the patio and adjacent sidewalk every day! If trash drifts in, pick it up! You're using public space for your private business - at least maintain the space you use. If the plants are dead, move the planters - or at least remove the dead leaves and stems.

Really - clean up the patio or close it. We were so discouraged by the ambiance after our last visit that we agreed we'll come back for a beer or wine, but dinner was too depressing. We walk by a couple times a week. We see you, TBC.

Fresh food, good value, cheerful courteous staff. I have two small gripes: we need a smaller sized smoothie for kids; there could be 5 more pieces of roast carrot in that salad - make that 3 qubbles: I'd like another meatless option on the menu, not fake meat, just something delicously not-meat. Maybe a ratatouille with/without an egg -The morning croissants are terrific, coffee excellent. It's a good place to take moderately tame kids - mine love the outdoor seating, and the inside after dark.

It was great! The margarita cup was so small :( other than that, it was fantastic! I loved the food and vibes!
