Overall it was a good stop. I ordered a vanilla latte with 1/2 the number of pumps of syrup that they use and it was good. Interestingly, I ordered a large and I got a small, 12 ounce cup. After looking at the menu I think they only come in one size.
We also ordered a piece of coffee cake, a babka end, and a cookie. All baked goods were mediocre, they weren’t great. We did get bigger portions to add to to our dessert menu for a party we are having tomorrow.
Other than they, they did have complimentary water that you could help yourself to. There was ample seating inside the bakery and everything, including the bathroom was accessible.

We visit St Michael's about twice a year. Sprout is our first stop. Coffee is great. Snacks are amazing. The service has always been on point. Great place for a quick respite while shopping.

Extremely rude barista. Went in three times over the past couple of days. Seemed like an inconvenience to be waited on, was snippy when I asked for a drink recommendation…I asked for a splash of milk in my coffee. She filled the cup halfway with milk and so when she added coffee it was super light tan. I politely asked if I could have it with a small amount of the milk after she gave it to us since I can’t have too much milk in the morning. She filled up my coffee cup, puts it on the counter and puts the milk next to it. I was waiting because she didn’t say anything, she just walked away. I asked if I could help myself when she came back and she goes “yes” in an overly annoyed and horrendous attitude. She shouldn’t work a customer service role, she clearly is miserable. I’m in no way a Karen and I wanted to love this place but that girl made me never want to come back.

The coffee cake is uh-mazing! Very homey feel & the staff was great. I love how much St. Michael's has been able to grow & keep up with the changes. It great to see so many mom & pop small businesses.

The coffee was terrible. Both my friend and I did not like it. We actually got nauseous from drinking only a few sips. The coffee had strong burnt taste, too hot, we wanted single espresso the staff refused to make us single. The milk was only one kind for my cappuccino — the staff didn’t offer nor asked for dietary preferences. The staff was not attentive nor friendly. The cups for the coffee were too thin to hold them because the coffee was very very hot. The staff didn’t offer cup sleeves. They just said well that’s what we have.

Super friendly staff, delicious food! Loved that they had plenty of vegan options that weren't bland or boring or just salad. Wish I lived nearby so I could visit regularly!

Spent a week in St. Michael’s and ended up trying most every coffee shop. Went back to Sprout the most. Price was reasonable, solid food and baked goods, coffee drinks were all consistently good! Owners (or whoever was working the coffee bar) was always very nice, helpful, and outgoing!
I can definitely see this place being really popular once the tourism in the area stabilizes again.

Stopped by around noon on Sunday for coffee and cakes. Good coffee, good coffee cake, pretty good Babca. $26.00 for two coffees and two pieces of coffee cake seems a little too much for my taste. Ambience is nice , store was clean. Nice area to sit outside but at what price. One of those one time visits for us. Amended Review..................The matter has been resolved thanks to a speedy response from management it was down to miscommunication.
