Rise Up Coffee

My wife and I stopped in here for a quick breakfast and some coffee. Coffee was good but VERY expensive. A medium iced coffee will run you around $5.00 if you want any flavor shots in it. Food was definitely very fresh tasting but you're paying organic prices for sure. Over all a decent place but for two sandwiches and two coffees my wife and I put almost $30 down.

Spent 6 weeks of my summer in OCMD, and came back to visit this week. Been to Rise Up many times, but this was one of my best experiences. The baristas were super friendly, the atmosphere was calm, and the coffee was good. My only gripes are 1) The coffee is good, not great, and 2) It can sometimes get very crowded and loud. Otherwise, this is probably the best coffee shop in the area and I highly recommend it.

Stopped here because it had good reviews. This place is over priced, coffee not good and food terrible. We got the breakfast sandwich, burrito and 2 coffees for $30. The latte I got still had ground espresso floating in it and bitter. The biscuit was hard and the egg was greasy and they forgot to put cheese on it. My husband's burrito was so oily that fell apart and was missing chorizo. We both ended up throwing our food and drink away. Complete waste of money.

Coffee is okay/expensive , baristas are awesome and attentive. The food, however, leaves something to be desired.
Mad egg food is super mediocre food with inconsistent portions masked as some high quality prepared dishes. Takes forever to get the food and very overwhelming when it finally arrives. Stick to the coffee,food is not their specialty.

Regional chain is impressive in its offerings and ambience. Had a house brew, a breakfast biscuit, and frozen hot chocolate. All were fantastic. Definitely recommend stopping here for a snack, breakfast, or coffee. Staff was so warm and welcoming too!

A great place to stop to get a well-made cup of coffee. Flavorful at a great price. Only disadvantage is that they are located in West OC so making the trek back to the main part of OC can be a pain with the summer traffic.
