Rise Up Coffee

I want to go back every day. The coffee was incredible and the breakfast burrito was outstanding. The place is clean, staff is very nice and helpful. I just wish we had one in Massachusetts

LOVED Breakfast here although it was quite expensive. There is a hipster vibe here. I got a frozen banana coffee and I swear, it was the best coffee I've ever had. The food filled us all up, definitely recommend

I was so excited to see a vegan breakfast option in OC. I drove over from north OC. I walked straight to the counter and ordered the Happy Cow and a lemonade. I then sat behind the wall and waited for my food. At one point, I *thought* I heard a mispronunciation of my name. I walked to the counter, didn’t see any food, and sat back down (assuming I was mistaken). After some time had passed, I asked the cashier if food pickup is at the same counter where people were picking up drinks. She said, “no, over at the window.” So my name HAD been called (once). When I ordered, it would have taken the cashier two seconds when I ordered to tell me about the window. I was behind the wall the whole time. I didn’t study the place when I walked in. I grabbed my lukewarm wrap and left, though I had planned to eat there. It was supposed to contain fried potatoes. There was ONE sliver of potato in the whole thing. I’m just so disappointed. 🙁

Excellent breakfast sandwiches and coffee.

Both the breakfast sandwich and Rise Up burrito were excellent. I also had the white mocha smoothie which was great.

Their coffee is delicious, flavorful, smooth. Much better than the national chain.

I like supporting local businesses. Particularly when quality is better than the chains.

Almost too hip and clean for OCMD coffee shop with breakfast and açaí. Nice airy vibe, good coffee with lavender pump +75¢. The matcha latte was very good, recommend that as well. They also sell ground coffee and a specialty Maryland roast that makes a fun hostess gift for coffee friends. Neutral cashier interaction, neither friendly nor unfriendly, exactly mid millennial. One of the drawbacks is the left side location if you’re headed toward the beach, have to u turn both ways. If you’re headed out of town than no problem, it’s on the right. Definitely a cool coffee shop hangout pre covid.

Ok, coffee. Pretty expensive for self serve coffee pots. But maybe I'm not hip. The part that sells food is a separate restaurant with separate hours. So half thinks coffee is ok all day, the other thinks breakfast is till 3. I don't know what's going on anymore. Coffee was good just like coffee do. Plant based burrito needed salt maybe? They can't count bananas. That's an inside joke, they'll get it.

I called Rise Up multiple times over 30 minutes because I wanted to place a to go order. I realized I was cutting it close to the kitchen closing at 3. Each time the phone went directly to voicemail. I arrived at 3:04 pm. Multiple staff standing around talking. I gave my order as I was close and wasn’t sure if my clock was off a minute or two. I was told the kitchen was closed, and was asked if I wanted anything else. I told the staff. No that’s all I wanted and that I tried to call multiple times over 30 min, and suggested they check their phone line. I was told ok and staff went back to talking.

This place is amazing!!! We got coffee smoothie, a cold brew and a cinnamon bun. There was quite a wait to order but totally worth it.
