Excellent food my wife and I got the burger and filet mignon. So yummy and fresh! The server was very attentive! Can't wait to go back next time we are in the area.

We visited Deep Creek lake for three days....and we ate at MoonShadow every. single. day. Great service, great food, great atmosphere. Wings were off the charts— I had the sweet heat sauce. My husband had the chicken tenders and loved them. Second day we got take out and I unfortunately didn’t get a picture of my reuben and my husbands Rachel. Today we had the moonshadow benedict and the classic breakfast—both stellar. Their corn beef is brined in-house and was SOOO GOOOD. Sausage was unreal, as well. All around great place. Wish we could have a moonshadow in our hometown, but it’ll make visiting Deep Creek all the more exciting.

Terrible food. I should have known better than to order the Ramen but they got me with "homemade noodles." It was the oddest, greyest food I have ever been served. The noodles were all wrong. My buddy also ordered a steak that was terrible and the leak dish was brutally bad as well.

at least the staff is nice or I would have gone 1 star

If you decide to give this place a try stick to the beer, apps, and burgers

I dont know if I would call this a homestyle family restaurant but the food is made with what I assume is locally sourced high quality ingredients. Very cool vibe and the live music is great. A little loud if you aren't drinking with a group but if you are then it's a good time.

One of the top 5 restaurants I've ate at! Their menu definitely caters to a pescatarian type of diet. This is not to say they don't have "red meat" iteams on the menu also. Great atmosphere and amazing food. This is definitely a place I'll be going back to again!

Meh…food was a mixed bag. Some ok and some dishes came out cold. Definitely not worthy of what they are charging.
Also found hostess/service to be lacking and even rude…we got there at 6pm with a reservation for 10…they tried to stick us at a table for 8 and didn’t seem happy to accommodate us, even though restaurant was relatively empty.
Spent almost $300 and wished we had gone elsewhere :(

Very nice, except waitress told our group they were out of champagne and couldn't get pitcher of sangria, but soon after we saw another group get served a pitcher of sangria... Or what looked exactly like Thier sangria ... Basically how do you run out of champagne on a Friday afternoon...you should be stocked for the weekend at this point... Otherwise it was a nice place to go.

Interesting place. The food was delicious. I got the apple glazed pork which was awesome. They have bands play there at times for around a $5 cover charge but you can sit in the dining room without charge. It’s somewhat loud from the room directly next to the band.

Second time I am picking up order. And this time it wasn’t great. Soup size “bowl” but more likely is the CUP. It didn’t taste great. So that was disappointing.
House salad, have 3 slices of cucumber, 2 cherry tomatos( sliced). And a lot a lot a lot greens. It taste bitter even with dressing. $5 for it?!

If my previous review were positive, this visit I wasn’t happy with the food.
