The coffee drinks are made with powder, not coffee. Of the 6 drinks we ordered, one was just ok.
They asked for a tip, which was super awkward. The workers were not very sociable or approachable. I would never return.
Super disappointed.

The coffee is always fresh, hot and delicious. They carry delicious baked goods too! The owners are awesome! A great little business to support in HdG.

Ordered an iced americano.. which is freshly pulled espresso on top of ice water. What I received was UNDRINKABLE.
The person behind the counter brought my cup to the fridge, pulled out a pitcher, and poured in two "shots" of a mystery liquid and filled the rest with ice water. I was confused but paid anyway and left with it. When I got in my car, I saw the liquid in the cup was almost totally clear. It also smelled like stale coffee. It was so gross I poured it out and went over to the other coffee shop down the street. Never again!!

I love the atmosphere and the awesome aroma as I walk down the street. The owners are awesome!!

Definitely my favorite coffee place in town. Large assortment of coffees to choose from. And I always manage to pick up some extras for home.

It's been a while since I've been there, but a quick drop-in was worth it. Good coffee, a relaxing, pleasant place, and the owners are the nicest folks!

Awesome atmosphere, the decor makes you want to drink coffee and read books all day. And the coffee is wonderful.

I was unhappy with a drink (that they made correctly, it just wasn't my jam), and they made me a total of 3 drinks! The atmosphere is very cozy and welcoming. Thank you, Java By the Bay!

Best frozen chai on the planet, and scones that are quite simply to die for! Friendly owners and lovely atmosphere make this our go-to place in Havre de Grace!
