I had a hot chocolate and part of a blueberry muffin. Both were excellent. The owners were fun and friendly folks. I will go back. Great place.

Place was great! Reccomend their apple cider and custard filled almond croissant! Cafe is comfy and relaxing. Visit if you can.

Very... generic; owner wasn't particularly friendly (not rude, just meh) nor very knowledgeable as far as coffee goes. Seems catered to the 55+ crowd. I saw a lot of 5-star reviews so I was pretty surprised by what I was served. Prices aren't unreasonable for *good* espresso drinks, but a little high for what they serve. Go if you're dying from caffeine withdrawal, skip if you can wait for somewhere else.

What a great coffee shop. They offer a large selection of coffee drinks. They also have delicious looking pastries. I tried their pumpkin frozen coffee today. So much better than the big coffee giant!!!
They also sell handcrafted jewelry. My daughter purchased these today.

Cowboy AL approved! Friendly and knowledgeable are the owners. Attention to detail makes me happy.I had an excellent espresso. The shop makes ya sit a spell and read a good book or play checkers. Great experience! Will return!

My husband loves the Frosty's Favorite coffee. We bought several pounds of it and offered it to everybody who came to our home the morning of our wedding, one of them being my best friend from Georgia. He likes it so much we sent him home with a pound and he plans to order it regularly, if shipment is offered, or we will buy it and ship it to him. Hopefully this coffee will always be in stock so both my husband and best friend will be able to enjoy it.
Thank you, Java By The Bay, for a great small pleasure in their lives.

Very nice coffee shop with fresh ground coffee made daily or even as you wait. Nice selection of pastries as well. Friendly service and one of the best coffee shops in northeastern Maryland located in historic Havre de Grace. Close to the water and plenty of really good antique stores through out the town.
Very relaxed atmosphere and a nice place to get a great cup of coffee and just relax. Definitely something you want to experience.

Ron and Helen are the nicest people on earth. Love their service and coffee. Baked goods are always excellent. They always have a smile and kind word for everyone in the store. They make you feel at home.

This place is SO bad that you'll wish you could shave your tongue after you drink that rank coffee and don't bother with the stale desserts. They would do better to wash the coffee pot instead of caring more about the theme. Just go to Concord coffee down the street on the corner!

Moved into the area and wanted to try places that looked local. Went into this coffee shop and was basically ignored by whom I believe were the owners while they gossiped with a couple locals. We had to interrupt their conversation after a full minute of standing at the counter and waiting. Even then, no hello or any kind of greeting. We were just two people in their way of talking. Coffee was ok, better than dunkin donuts, but that is a very low bar.
