Little Market Café

Delighted they got a vegan menu. I enjoy the quaint atmosphere nestled in Historic Ellicott City, Maryland. This is my "go to place" when I am in town for breakfast and lunchtime!

Parking for the Little Market Café is a nightmare on the weekends because the parking lot is almost always completely full since it's one of three parking lots for the entirety of Old Ellicott Main Street. They have live music on the weekends which adds to the atmosphere and is a pro and a con at times. You walk up to window to order where they use a speaker to talk to you even when music isn't playing and it hurts my ears. Then they can barely hear you so you have to shout while they blast your eardrums asking you to repeat yourself. I feel like the mic should be on both ends especially during the performances they have where it's a constant battle of hearing each other. They have a large variety of items on their menu and plenty of vegan options. I dislike how they call your name when your order is ready because you can't hear them if there is a performance or a lot of people talking. I think they should use a speaker for the order pickup. The food itself is very basic and tastes okay but really you're just paying for the atmosphere if you go here to eat. It's outdoor seating only so if it's raining or freezing out I would go elsewhere. I would recommend it if you like bland sandwiches and live outdoor performances when the weather is favorable.

This place is just awesome. If the weather is nice it is the perfect outdoor spot. I do think it is a well kept secret though, since I only recently heard of it. They have nice music and your entire family can enjoy. The outdoor furniture is beautiful and the location is for any nature lover. I was there with a bunch of friends and we had a wonderful time. People were friendly and the food was good. The cauliflower pizza is a must try.

Me and my boyfriend love coming here! Fast service and great food. Some of the drinks are a bit hit or miss. Pizza and breakfast sandwiches are delicious 👍🏻

Quaint, delicious outdoor breakfast, brunch, lunch eats. Fresh bagels, great lox, etc. made to order with fast friendly service. Cute names for elevated standard "brunchwiches" Plus... Dogs are allowed!

The garden salad topped with crab salad was a healthy, delicious choice. My daughter chose the vegan sandwich, New Haven VLT (I hope that's correct) and she loved it! The sitting area is very quaint and sometimes you'll catch a band playing. We'll be back.

I really want to like this place. The outdoor area is very cute and I appreciate the many live music events they have throughout the week. They have a pretty big menu of sandwiches and snacks, but the coffee/espresso drinks are not good! The first time I tried an espresso drink from here was a few years ago, before the Gordon Ramsay makeover, and it was like drinking burnt sugar water. Gave them another chance this past weekend hoping things had dramatically improved. There was a lot of people there so the coffee must be good... right? Wrong. I ordered a cappuccino and my partner a hot coffee with mocha. The espresso in my drink was horribly bitter and the coffee was simultaneously watery and sickeningly sweet. So disappointing. We'll be back for the BYOB live music events, but won't be ordering any more coffee/espresso from here.

Sandwiches where very good@! Hamilton, CC Italian sandwiches where great. Pizza was good too. The waffle with chicken was ok. A piece of chicken would have been better then the chicken salad in the sandwich...

This quant little cafe had the best reubin sandwich I've ever had. Better than 2nd Ave. Deli in NYC. Outstanding. Great ambiance and friendly/helpful staff!!! If I lived in the area I would go here everyday!!!!!!!
