I read the reviews so I came last Thursday for lunch. I was quite indecisive as I wanted a sandwich but then opted for pizza. I ordered the Go Ask Alice but received the Flash Gordon. I didn't realize it until now after reviewing the menu to provide the name of the pizza to write this review. The Flash Gordon was so dry!!! Goodness gracious. It was not good at all. Other reviewers claim the food is fresh, no it isn't. I will not return.
The only plus is they have a outdoor seating.

Nestled behind the row of shops along Main Street in Ellicott City is a little shopping area on Hamilton Ave. The jewel of this alcove is the Little Market Cafe. I met two friends there for lunch and had a wonderful time sitting in one of the nearby patios while eating. The place was steady-busy, so bank at least a half hour for your lunch break. I had the Raven on sourdough, which is more or less a Reuben, for aficionados (except of course, I did not have it on rye). I was also told that the vegan sandwich was great. I believe it. My sandwich was very fresh and tasted amazing! This place is worth finding and savoring!!

Great vegetarian options! Had the non-turkey with vegan cheese/mayo in a wheat wrap. It was delicious! I'd ask for less mayo next time for the wrap, but otherwise really good! The staff was really great and the outside seating felt cozy. There is a small stage for live music. Great place, especially when the weather is nice!!

We have been coming here for years and the food here is consistently good. At a number of recent visits we’ve experienced them being overwhelmed by their capacity. Having done both in person and online pre-ordering, it’s poorly executed when they are busy, which is often when it’s nice out and/or weekends. If they can sort out their ability to manage the rush and work in pre-orders to have food ready at the scheduled time, this is 5-stars easily.

Nice cafe! Great outdoor seating. Food is ok not too exceptional. Staff is very friendly. Service is great.

Terrible service. The taste of the bagel and the ingredients were of good quality. It feels a little greasy. I asked for a breakfast sandwich and I received a bagel. That is still not clear for me because they have a menu section for bagels. I asked for 2 coffees and the cashier only registered 1 when I clearly asked for 2. I needed to go and get in the line again to ask for the 2nd coffee. The 2 people in the line in front of me were there to clarify something in their orders as the same as me. They have no restrooms (only port a potty) which is ridiculous and unhygienic.

After spending the night in the area, choose Little Market Café due to the many vegan choices.
Upon arrival placed our order and went and found a table, our beverages were ready quickly.
After 25 minutes our food still had not come out, so I went to inquire when it would be ready.
I understand during this time that places are understaffed and can be slammed and busy, but that does not give the staff the right to be rude. The staff person goes inside and comes back out with 1 of my 3 items, when I asked about the other 2 items, they went back inside and came right back out with them in bag stapled shut, so now I truly wonder how long my food had been ready, while it was not cold it was not hot like it had just been made, I know this because one of the items had been made incorrectly and had to be remade and was piping hot when the replaced handed to me.
As for the food, over all it was tasty, but I am confused as to why my bagel had spinach on it, as that is not listed as a menu item, this is not mistake made that I took back that was for the bagel with chipotle mayo that was asked to be left off.
Based on my experience I won't be going back

They have several vegan options but staff is not very knowledgeable about what that means, which is concerning. I had a bagel sandwich and my partner had a crab salad sandwich and both were not good at all. The seating is outdoor only- the day we visited they had a live band playing and it was impossible to hear your name called out for the order.

I enjoyed the CC’s Favorite sandwich and a pumpkin muffin. There were lots of folks dining outside and the kitchen was backed up, but I enjoyed the muffin that was heated up for me by a friendly server. The staff here is young and hip - and sorry if this tilts my perceptions - but makes me feel like the food will be of a higher standard. I loved the zesty flavors of the sandwich with vinegary flavors of the cured meats and sauce. Delicious.

Poor service and unsanitary. Told 25-30min wait. Waited 45min appeared to be busy overalls waited hour for one sandwich to be made. Watch numerous employees go in and out one door. Those with gloves who appeared to be making food and those without taking out trash and other requirements. Gloves did not appear to be changed. So with someone taking out trash and someone making food all touching the same surfaces without washing hands or changing gloves is concerning. After waiting so long there could have been apology saying the order was miss no big deal it happens but employees were rude as if it was my fault.
