Hands down an amazing spot to get away during this pandemic, enjoy a pastry and delicious fresh coffee. Above all else, the owners are just some of the kindest people and all staff are warm and welcoming. Super clean and well designed atmosphere for work or study or just to hang out with friends. The cleanliness and following of health guidelines seems like a top priority here, which is a plus. Check PJ’s Coffee out!

Nice little coffee shop, had a great conversation with my BFF, she had the Carmel latte and I had a large Carmel cappuccino, and we both had the beignet it was deliciousness. Highly recommend you visit PJ when you are in PG county MD.

Nasty customer service + extremely long wait whether you use mobile order again. And as a constant customer who tries to pick them over Starbucks but literally strike 3 in 2 weeks. Don’t get me started with people hair hanging in my drink. Why am I waiting 25 min for a mobile order? Literally ordered on my drive way…. I live 15 min away. Back to Starbucks I go

Been hearing about beignets for years and years but never tried one. The one and only time O visited New Orleans, I was there for less than 24 hours and never made to the French Quarter or any sites.

But yesterday, I tried them at PJ’s and WOW! The owner said hers are better than the famous Cafe Dumond’s and believe her! At the very least, I don’t believe any anywhere can be any better!

Giving it three stars only because the last few times I came to get a hot chocolate, they either got it wrong, was overly sweet or HALF of the cup(which is absurd...)
The very first time I tried pj’s was early February.
The gentleman and young lady that worked that night were PHENOMENAL! The customer service was great! They made me the best hot chocolate and the beignets were perfect! My first experience set the tone of how I’d like my hot chocolate to taste and beignets to be served in the future. The beignets were hot! And the powdered sugar didn’t melt, where as most recently the powder sugar looks like a candy coating (I assume they put the powder sugar on way too soon)
Hopefully I either come across those two associates again, or I’ll hold off on this location.
And sadly this is only 10 min from my home😔

Good customer service!! For the most part, the coffee is still good. It really depends on the barista the day you go.

Beautiful location and very clean facility. Soon as I walked in I heard the background music of New Orleans style jazz. 🎶 love to see if they’ll add live music maybe on special days? That’s one of the reasons why I love NOLA— the people, food, and jazz music!

I was so excited to visit because of my personal love for NOLA. Beignets are one of my favorites to have when visiting NOLA so you could understand my level of anticipation when I stumbled upon this gem! ☺️

My order consisted of the Vienna Creme, an orange/raspberry scone & of course an order of beignets! The coffee was ok, scone extremely tasteful (orange flavor was not overpowering) & the beignets were slightly different consistency from what I’m accustomed to. The overall flavor of the beignets were very delicious. I ate all (3) in a matter of seconds! They are made to order and should be eaten within 30 mins to enjoy their warmness and flavor. I stated the slight difference of consistency because from my personal experience (and this is very subjective to my own) the beignets I’ve had from NOLA are slightly more denser and a bit bigger in size. The ones at PJs were smaller in size and more on the flakier side. And the oil used taste a bit different. I’m a big girl I know butter and oil differences lol! This is NOT at all a drawback because again they were still ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS.

Will I go back? Do a Zebra have stripes?! Uhmm That’s a YES 🙌🏼

I LOVE this cafe! We have a taste of New Orleans right here in Bowie. The beignets are a must try. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. I go really early in the morning and there is never a wait. I highly recommend try any coffee granita!

As soon as we walked the in door we were greeted with warmth and feel of you are family. I was blessed to meet the owners, abosolutely amazing, beautiful couple. The employees gave stellar customer service. Lets no talk about the warm delicious get your own beignets😋. They are satisfying to my SOUL. Coffee and the sandwich I had was delicious. I definitely recommend PJ's with confidence you will not be disappointed
