We were a little nervous when we went to Annapolis because as avid cold brew fans we hadn't heard of a coffee shop in the area other than Starbucks. Luckily our concerns we assuaged when we found Ceremony Roasters a 10 minute drive from the city center. We had the poached egg and avocado toast as well as the ham and cheese for breakfast and both dishes were delightful. The star of the show however was the cold brew. Sent from nitro heaven, that cold brew was easily one of the best I've had on this planet. Can't wait to go back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting.

I'm a pretty easy to please plain old cup o' joe coffee drinker and I seek out local coffee shops over a large corporate ones. My one ask is for heavy cream instead of half and half. I asked the batista if they had heavy cream and was told they reserve heavy cream for their specialty drinks and that if they were "caught" putting it in a regular coffee they could get in "huge trouble." What kind of management are they working for? Imagine being afraid of satisfying a customer!
I acquiesced to using half and half but I will not return.

I was 37 when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I had three kids under 6 at the time. This past Friday I went to Ceremony as my reward for making it through my mammogram at Hopkins. I ordered my drink and an avocado toast. While waiting, the staff started commenting on the color of my car. A customer chimes in and spoke about how ugly it is. I looked at her and said, “to each their own.”
The coffee is good but the staff and vibe is pretentious. Kindness matters. I will not be back.

I go out of my way to go to this specific coffee shop over other ones. The coffee is always excellent and every time I’ve been the baristas are absolutely wonderful and so friendly.

First time trying this coffee shop. The baristas are super nice and the service was swift.
That said, my latte was just okay with an inch of foam; the burnt aftertaste is unappealing. The cappuccino ordered by my partner had a burnt aftertaste.
The metal seating is not very comfortable and the chairs for the table are quite low in comparison to the height of the table.
Not sure that I would repeat the experience.

Unlike the top-notch Ceremony in Baltimore's Harbor Point, this one left me cold.
On a first visit, unfriendly staff were disinterested in talking about the coffee (nobody in line). The homogenous late-morning crowd all but filled the smallish store with their presence, but not with energy. Strange for a place that should be heavily caffeinated.
I selected a mini-bundt cake from the meager pastry offerings. Asked if it could be warmed up, was tersely refused with no explanation. The cake? Well, it was unfortunately adhering to the "gluten-free" trendiness, and tasted like it was made by someone who once saw a bundt cake. It might have been better warm...
Add in the bizarrely twisted, cluttered parking lots of this heavily paved part of suburban Annapolis, and the place had all the charm of an airport Starbucks.
Skip it unless you work nearby.

My husband and I have always loved ceremony coffee. It's one of our favorite places in Annapolis. We were super pleased to find out that we could order and have it shipped to us now that we live out of state!

The tea here was tasty, but the customer service in the place was unacceptable. I was rudely greeted and then stared at on the way out while other customers received friendly welcomes and good byes. I’m not sure if the staff is just rude or racist, but I wont Be returning. Very disappointing. Treat all your customers the same way. Also the music is way too loud!
