Very high quality, fresh ingredients and it seems just about everything is made fresh from scratch. Small but good taplist for the beer. My only complaint is my burger was overcooked. Ordered medium rare, it was served with no pink, closer to medium well.

Delighted to find such a tasty, trendy place outside of downtown Portland. Will definitely be back!

We brought home takeout from the new Gather Italia menu this weekend and it was great! Delicious food and big portions. They also had a nice kids menu. We will be back!

Saturday evening early December visit- called at 530 got a 605 reservation was seated at 615. They do have a small children's play area with a table and small stools, lots of books and a few toys. Was Very crowded and bar seating available. They had both bar items not available and was unable to serve pizza(they said pizza oven was out of order I think). Children's menu is very, very limited (pasta with butter and cheese, patty melt and chicken pot pie) chicken pot pie was served in a Very hot dish that my son almost burned himself on (this is a kids menu item mind you) got my son water (pretty sure it was tap and only glass available for kids drinks). After ordering at 630 we got our food at 740. The waitress only came by the table after being waved over to say that it would be out shortly (this was at 715). Prices, by my standard, were expensive. Is all organic which I know effects their pricing. Gave 3 stars and not less because my parents had been there repeatedly and were satisfied enough to take me and my son there. Brussels sprouts were phenomenal as well as the fried mushroom and sweet potato fries appetizer. Had to get mine and my son's wrapped to go by the time we were served. Staff was understanding about children and their inability to stay still and out of the way while waiting to be served. Will be giving them one more chance to up their rating.

The food and drinks were really good. The service was very good. We loved the atmosphere. The menu felt a little limited.

Although I think the prices could be a bit lower, the food was amazing with delightful tastes. The atmosphere was great, the lighting was very quaint, service was good. Also, there choices for wall art was beautiful; replicas of farm/agricultural tools of a bygone age.

The restaurant was not busy yesterday, but everything took so long. There were tons of tables and staff. Our drinks took almost 20 minutes to get to us. Another 20 minutes for the appetiser and almost 40 minutes to get our entree. We have had really good experiences and food here before, and I think everyone meant well. I regret suggesting that we go here for dinner. Felt like a waste of money.

Eh. That's about all I can say. I wanted it to be great, but it wasn't and I left feeling underwhelmed by everything.
First off, the parking was not good. The parking was very narrow and even though the restaurant didn't seem to be full, there was no spaces available. I ended up parking down the street and having to walk. Maybe it's a shared lot with another business? I don't know.
Our group sat at a long table in the middle of the room. The chairs were incredibly uncomfortable. Hard metal with no cushion and the way the back met the seat, I had metal bars pressing into my kidneys all night. Not particularly pleasant. The music drove me insane all evening. There was a guy playing a guitar and singing and it was way too loud. I couldn't hear anyone sitting around me and it made conversation very difficult. The waiter was standing right behind me telling us about the specials and I could barely hear what he was saying. It made for a difficult dining experience because we were all basically yelling at each other to be heard.
The food wasn't great but it wasn't terrible. I enjoyed the sun choke tots even though they were basically just smashed and fried. The taste was good but doesn't pair well with the truffle ketchup, that pairing gave it a weird after taste that I wasn't a fan of. I was trying to stay budget conscious so I ordered a burger from the menu. I asked for well done but it was still pink in the middle. I'm not sure the waiter even heard me correctly because of the music, so I just ate it anyway. It was a middle of the road burger, nothing special to write home about. I got fries with it and they were pretty good, if it a bit overcooked. It was sad when I got to the bottom of the fry pile and it was all just little fry bits that weren't edible. The only highlight to my meal was the dessert. I got a Meyer lemon napoleon that came with blood orange slices and a blood orange sauce. The sauce had a bit of a bite to it which balanced the sweetness of the lemon cream nicely.
Overall, there are better restaurants with better atmosphere and cheaper prices closer to home for me. I probably won't be back here after this experience.

Amazing food, creatively unique dishes. Love the old building and the staff was aces. Highly recommend if you are looking for a nice place to eat in the Portland area.

Exceptional locally sourced ingredients combined to create a truly delightful dining experience! Unique and open atmosphere of an old event space inside a former Masonic hall makes it feel communal but still intimate. Super friendly staff that we can't wait to visit again!
