A nice relaxing place to enjoy good company and good food. Always feel welcome.

Bathroom is out of order again, which just is not right in a place that serves coffee.
Also they are only using paper cups. I still can't see how using regular cups puts anyone at increased risk for covid. It does however decrease damage to the environment.
Food is good, espresso drinks are great, the physical space is excellent.

Recently had breakfast with my daughter at Selah. We both enjoyed a breakfast a bowl. It was fresh, flavorful, and plentiful enough to start our day. I returned today and ordered a breakfast bowl to go. It cost the same as eating in, $10,but was about half the size. $10 for spinach, a sprinkle of shredded carrot and beet, a few bacon crumbles and 1/2 of a scrambled egg is steep!

I knows the owners, so I'm slightly biased. With that said, this place is a great high end cafe. It's like Starbucks, but with a more personal feel and without bad tasting coffee and food. They have plenty of seating and softly playing music if you're looking to study with a beverage and some fresh baked goods.

Went to study and there was plenty of space which was nice! I got a coffee drink and it cost over $5, a lot for what I got. I found most of their beverage prices were too high for the area and for the product. It’s more or less what you’d expect to see in a bigger city as opposed to a smaller area in Maine. I went in the winter and it was FREEZING inside. I had a thermal shirt, fleece pullover, and ended up wearing my winter coat on top of that. I’m not sure if it was the windows or what, but they could definitely use some heat. (Updating this because apparently they had lost heat?) Anyway, I’m rating 4 stars because the girl who served me was extremely nice and the atmosphere was too. If you’re okay being cold (or maybe if you go in the summer it’s not as bad) and paying a higher price, it’s definitely worth going.

Waited 35 minutes for a bagel but it never came. Had to go to an appointment so left without my food. Only about 8 people in Cafe. Most had their food. It should not take that long. Don't go here unless you have 2 hours to kill

When I go to visit cities, I find a place like this one to perch and do work on my laptop. To me, Selah Tea is the perfect place to go to have tea, eat a fine sandwich, or nibble on a cookie, and just relax. In a world of chaos and confusion, it's so nice to stop for a moment and enjoy the atmosphere. Love this place!

The Selah Breakfast was absolutely perfect. The potatoes were delicious, crunchy on the outside soft on the inside definitely handcut fresh. The uncared bacon was really tasty and the avocado toast had a nice spice to it. The oatmilk latte was a fun change of pace from my usual almond milk. I'm glad the cashier suggested it. I wish I lived closer so that I could come here everyday!!

Had a coconut carrot bisque on this rainy, cold day that totally turned my day around. Delicious! Always great coffee and food. The owners Bobby and Rachel are spectacular and Emma will make you smile any day of the week. I work upstairs from the cafe and going in is always a high point in my day. Love you Selah, thanks for beautifying downtown!

The soup is always delicious here. The staff are so nice and helpful. Sometimes food takes a while to come out, but overall one of my favorite coffee places in town.
